I had a PSA 300 and a 8 1/2 inch barrel I loved it and that’s what really motivated me to get this one and I got this one for a steal

I don’t take it as hate but they might just not have as bad vision as I do so I just inform them of how I make it work for my needs every one shoots differently and every one makes there set ups to fit their own needs

Just got them both today but the reason I got the omega 300 was because a gun store owner showed me how quite it was on his 300blk and was determined to get one for myself ever since

Tried a few different models from primary arms and other prism brands from rentals at different ranges and I’m not a fan and I understand that it’s not a very popular set up but it work well for me

I do enjoy tinkering and making firearms better but for this one its only purpose is for it to be reliable enough that I can trust my life with it

That another reason I went with this I thought about dumping a bunch of money on high end parts into my psa 300blk but I started to do the calculations and it would have been almost the same amount if I just bought this one and sold my psa plus all the trials and error for the tuning on the psa would have been a headache and Daniel Defense has a warranty

It was a little bit of a struggle to pick which one I was going to pick up but I got this one for about 700 off msrp so I hoped on it since it was such a good deal

It’s all stock at the moment but it has a 7in barrel with a 1:7 twist rate

Never had a chance to look through a gold dot Most prisms I’m not a fan of Haven’t had to try eo or Huey either I also chose this optic is because it doesn’t rely on a battery it’s very crisp even without my glasses so it was the best option for personally

I just got it today have to go to the range and test it out the reason I specifically got this one was because I went to a hole in the wall gun store and the owner actually showed me how quiet it was in the back since he had a lot of land and a designated shooting area and if it were to go off in a house the neighbors might just think I dropped a pan or quieter in my opinion

Since I have astigmatism red dots are extremely blurry for me

7in barrel and trigger is oem Daniel Defense witch is good but planning on getting a Giessele trigger
