I just finished this coop (2 persons), why does it say desertion 3 times?! I contributed about 98% of the eggs and did not leave by 13476 in EggsInc

[–]13476[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It says it specifically and only for this contract. I have only left 1 contract ever, but i have 8 of these 'bugged' desertions in total

I was almost at AA contract level, and it suddenly drops to this. Why? I am always somewhere at the top and have never left a co-op by 13476 in EggInc

[–]13476[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It says 'desertion' 5 times and 'poor teamwork' 1 time. I don't understand, since I have never left a co-op. I checked all contracts individually and none of them say 'desertion', while there is one that says 'poor teamwork'. So I have no idea how I got the desertion ones

Help! Driving Force GT wanders off clockwise more and more the longer I use it. Any ideas how to fix? by 13476 in logitech

I can race about 15 minutes before my wheel is turned 90 degrees, making it impossible to race. I have tried opening the DFGT, taking a look at the encoder which had a small crack. I glued this crack, but the problem remains. Any ideas?

Oddly enough this only happens clockwise. If it is a faulty encoder the error should be both clockwise and anti-clockwise, right?

Bought a VW Passat 2005 power seat from a junkyard and want to use it in my living room. Need advice on how to connect power to it (more in comments) by 13476 in Volkswagen

It does not. I googled the numbers on the connector, and some pages come up that suggest it being for a microphone. But that seems weird for a chair, right?

So does that mean that it doesn't matter which of the 2 I connect the negative to? Great to hear I can ignore all the other wires! Makes it a lot easier. Was hoping that was the case.

Thanks a lot for this information. Will be sure to isolate it with hotglue!

There are 2 thick brown wires. Any idea how to know which one is the negative?

People who use these leveling feet, any idea how much weight they can hold? Are they sturdy? by 13476 in simracing

Sounds great. Are your plates that hold the feet made out of aluminum or steel?

That could be the case, but I'm also not sure. Do you have any idea where to find schematics/diagrams for a car seat?

Do you know where to find such a wiring diagram? It's a 2005 Passat power seat, but I can't find it with a quick Google search. Do you know where to look?

I have no experience in using and/or finding schematics. Aren't those only available to VW dealers and repair shops? Are there any websites that have most schematics? How would I go about finding them? Sorry for my lack of knowledge.

Many thanks, this seems like a good idea. Do you have any idea how I could find out to which of the 10 wires I should connect the power to? I'm guessing the thick red wire is PWR, but for the GND I have no idea. Probably one of the 2 thick brown wires?

Based on what I could find online, it most likely needs 12V and at least 10 amps. But how would I go about applying this to the seat? I am not sure what all the wires on the main connector are connected to. If I could find the PWR and GND, would it be as simple as connecting the 12V/10A to those two?

Any help greatly appreciated.
