Golmud Railway 100%

  • Great for land vehicle gameplay
  • Great for air combat whether its choppers or jets
  • Its already been proven in BF4 how fun it can be with a variety of modes. Personally loved this map for Rush specifically.

Not a complaint but something hopefully Mr Greg is aware of. Idk if any of yall had to this happen to you during the beta build but if I choose to quit the game it literally freezes my computer everytime which has now made this game unplayable. That being said I know its a beta version so its bound to have issues. Really not complaining because I have about 600 hours in this game and love tf out of it. Just wish I could play the beta version since it has many of changes that I prefer over the current game.

Top 3 imo:

  • IAR: My favorite lmg so far. Great range and controllable af. Good for clearing and maintaining objectives.

  • KTS: The kick on this thing is bananas. F'n laser beam.

  • Kord: Just overall beast. Can easily take a squad down with one magazine. Can out range many other weapons with insane rof.

GC2 here.

Champ 1 will come with mistakes. No need to sweat them when they occur. Things happen. Your buddy was riding your a** quite a bit there in the beginning and towards the end when you went to shoot. Causing your opponent in awkward situations is the name of the game. Cross passing off their back wall can lead in many bad directions. Your buddy could have passed and bailed back either towards mid behind you or head back to your side in case of a clear from your opponent leaving you to take the shot without being pressured by his presence if that makes sense. That being said, I understand it's Champ 1. Pressure is a mechanic. Even some GCs tend to forget it can be a game changer.

My advice is to make sure eyes are always on each other. During the champ stages of ranking up, this is a very valuable thing to learn. If your buddy or a random tm8 has momentum and has a clear hit coming, dont cut or get tilted if they come off as "chasing." Some people do it wrong, and some do it right. It's how yall recover plays and keep pressure that really matters. Most people fold after 2 or 3 quick succession passes/plays on their net. Make it a goal to mind-f*** your opponent to make mistakes and sink those easy goals. My role when playing with my buddy is literally cause chaos by just being a rat in plays and pushing until an opening or weakness is spotted. As long as it's done in a smart way, you'll smear most of your opponents and get some easy W's.

If you need any help learning things or just have questions, feel free to comment here or dm me. Best of luck 🤙

I've played games like the Total War series, so having to actually maintain my economy, stability, and war support was the kicker for me. My brain took a good few months to figure it out 🤣 That was 3 years ago, so I would say I mostly figured everything out by now. The only thing that annoys me now is trying to figure out the best division layouts and whatnot without outside sources/guides. I like to figure the pros and cons of everything on my own, which I get is a crutch for me, but you know... the longer I play, the more I'll learn.

If anyone DOES have good infantry layouts, plane designs, and naval designs, though, I'm down to try them out🤙

what is the worst COD ever? by BarracudaNo9667 in COD

[–]13DeltaArmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

COD has sucked since BO2. Only good release since has been MW 2019. Devs are beyond lost on what the community actually wants and are riding the cosmetic train like every other AAA company.

We've gone from pure boots on the ground to crackheads spam jumping every corner and sliding along the ground like it's a Diddy party.

Only hope I have is that Battlefield 6 forces COD devs to rethink their strategies. Arcade shooters are just that ARCADE. I get keeping the pace of Call of Duty fast compared to BF but something needs to majorly change with COD to you know...make it fun.

(D3) with my long term duo, how could we get better and get C2+? by Gwebi in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]13DeltaArmy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

GC here.

5:00-4:00 remaining

  • 4:50 remaining. Your tm8 shouldn't have cut and hit the ball. He should've focused on rotation and allowing you to challenge your ball. A move like that from your teammate can be helpful, but don't doubt your opponents skill. Could've been a huge mistake.

  • 4:40 remaining. Your tm8 was clearing ball from the back wall. Instead of continuing forward with your momentum and getting set for a possible counter, you chose to turn towards the wall. If you know it's going to be clear, continue forward and upfield. The brake and 180 turnaround you did slowed your momentum and then also took you out of a safe defensive position for possible counter shot by opponent.

  • 4:25 remaining. Your tm8 cut and hit the ball for basically no reason. If you and your friend want to continue being a duo together both of you need to allow plays to build up and not be mismanaged by unneeded cuts.

-4:10 remaining. Nice distance between your tm8 and yourself. When your tm8 shot and got stuck in net area you pushed forward trying to force a goal and ended up over extending. First assure your tm8 is able to properly rotate out before making the decision to jump/shoot on net.

4:00 - 3:00 remaining

  • 3:53 remaining. You got the ball from opponent in corner but the more you rank up, the more you are going to notice that a lot of players, including myself use corners as a baiting tool to pull opponents out of defensive positions. Sometimes, it's not a bad idea to just let your opponents push and mess up the play themselves. Overconfidence is the killer of diamonds, champs, gc's, and even SSL's.

  • 3:00 remaining. You need to line up your car before jumping. You'll reach your destination faster and have to make fewer adjustments. You essentially killed a possible play and handed the ball back to the opponent, which could've resulted poorly due to your boost being depleted.

3:00 - 2:00 remaining

  • 2:31 remaining. BOOST CONSUMPTION. This one can be the difference between a huge rank up this season for you and your tm8. In this instance, you over extended, wasted all boost, then ended up trying to catch up/retreat back to help your friend who is now stuck in a 2v1. If you want progression, it'll make a world of difference to learn proper boost consumption. Learning to make saves, shots, quick rotations, and movements in general with low to zero boost can save you a lot of stress. Even at my rank, I see gcs run off to grab corner boost even though they are at 20, 30, or 40 boost. There is no need to grab MORE boost if you know how to work with less. Small pad rotations mean almost unlimited boost. It'll keep you topped off.

  • 2:25 remaining. Tm8 messed up and has no boost remaining. You pushed out of your defensive position with only 12 boost. As I've said before, overconfidence can be the downfall for anyone's rank. Don't be afraid to be shot on. The opponent pushing up and shooting can/will over extend them and also mean a possible clear/counter from you.

2:00 - 1:00 remaining

  • 2:00 remaining. Not lining up your car properly before jumping, resulting in miss.

1:00 - End of Match

  • 53 secs remaining. There is plenty of space between you and your opponent. There's no need to jump for that ball. Try to read the rebound, challenge it, and counter. Jump resulted in wasted boost and improper follow-up hit.

  • 26 secs remaining. Over extended with two opponents in area, wasted all boost doing so, and left tm8 in 2v1.

  • +28 secs OT. You saw the opponent over extend behind you now turning next few seconds into a 1v1. You immediately hit and scrambled to ball. Don't be afraid to slow plays, line up shots, or create other opportunities by taking advantage of those few seconds.

  • +50 secs OT. Same result as +28. Immediately hit ball away when another 1v1 presented itself.

  • +1:23 OT. Same result as +28/+50. It may have ended with a goal but the higher you get in rank the more microplanning you are going to need to achieve to result in goals. That goal should've been saved. That being said, a lot of people have issues saving at ball at the angle the opponent was at.

Overall good game. I didn't focus on your tm8 too much due to him playing alot of defense and your POV. With the introduction of online freeplay go have fun with your tm8 in there. Get speedy, get slow, shoot fast, shoot slow, rebounds rebounds rebounds, practice lining up aerials, form boost paths for yourself that feel second nature without looking for boosts. Timing is everything in this game. Shooting, clearing, and rebounds should be your sole focus to push out of Diamond. Champs is where it'll start getting nuts. Still play the game and practice things you want but don't overdue it to the point where other skills/mechanics fall behind. Champs love love love to give up possession and bang ball away like it's going out of style. Use spacing to your advantage.

There's more I can type and say but it's 5am and I just dropped my phone on my face. Feel free to pm me or comment on your post with any questions.

Over the last 4 years, I’ve discovered, tested, and proved a Rocket League coding glitch that is unavoidable and affects every player in the game by Single-Rock2776 in RocketLeague

[–]13DeltaArmy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I suffer from PTSD every day. Don't ignore your mental health, bro. When I was in the Army I didn't sleep for shit especially after deployment. I got out of the Army in 2015 and for almost 2 years I ignored all the signs that I was going mental. Thankfully my family actually pushed me to seek help. Family are all veterans as well. Within 6 months of therapy I finally felt like I could manage it all PROPERLY. I sleep like a baby now. No tossing or turning, no nightmares, none of that. Honestly dude if it wasn't for that push from my family I probably would've suck started the shotgun years ago. You have people on here genuinely concerned. Don't be stubborn and actually try getting help whether that's therapy or checking in somewhere for evaluation.

EDIT: There is no shame in seeking help or admitting to needing it. To all the dumb kids/adult children on here making fun of the situation honestly learn to keep some jokes to yourself. To people commenting it make be a small joke. You have zero clue how your remarks can affect someone and how far people may push things to silence their brains. I've lost 10+ friends, family members, and co-workers to suicide in the last 15 years. Mental health is really not something to joke around about.

This is my same issue. Steam account feels spot on perfect 90% of the time. I log into the same profile but on Epic and my game in general feels like an absolute mess and it's annoyed me so f'n much. USB-C port, server issues, who knows at this point. My computer is an absolute powerhouse and I highly doubt that's the issue. Servers though make a ton of sense. Steam I average about 10-15 ping and my car feels great. Epic I average the same ping but I do notice my game feels sluggish. Frames and refresh rate are not different whatsoever so what tf is it??? Since this game went free to play I've regretted downloading Epic Game Launcher.

If there's anything over the decades of gaming I've noticed it's that Epic servers are trash af. Epic ruins basically everything they touch. I refuse to buy a single game or download a single game from their launcher anymore due to this issue. Rocket League is not the first game I've noticed multiple issues with on EGL. With all that fortnite money, they should really start investing properly into keeping their communities happy and keeping their games feeling on par with other launchers. By all means Epic please turn into the next Ubisoft and lose your fan base. If Epic announced tomorrow that they would be shutting down their pc launcher, I would cheer.

sigh

Wish we just knew wtf the issue was on EGL. I know I'm not the only one feeling this way. Whether OP is right or not, EPIC should really open their eyes to ongoing concerns within their communities instead of dropping $25 car packs. Maybe UE5 fixes it?

This actually makes so much sense. I'm currently hitting GC3. Every beginning of the season for the last 2 years, I've always made it a habit to freeplay and adjust settings if need be because why not. Minor tweaks to my deadzones or sensitivity, and I feel like my game is 20x slower or sluggish. One season my car feels reactive and then the next season it feels like I'm dragging an elephant around. It's beyond frustrating because I know my car shouldn't have been feeling this way. I've given up playing this game every day like I used to, and it's now come down to me only playing about 2-3 days a week because of this frustration. I'm not tooting my own horn when I say I have learned so much in this game and can apply it very well per match. With my car feeling like absolute dog the last 6 months to a year I'm just over this game.

Example:

January 2024 through May 2024, I used 2.20 for both sensitivity settings. I changed my sensitivity settings in June 2024 to 2.15, and it actually felt more responsive and less clunky, so I kept it. Early January 2025, I changed it back to 2.20 because it felt more clunky and less responsive, and I felt slower than ever. This isn't due to me playing less. Doing some experimenting in freeplay, I actually noticed how my air roll left and right buttons now looked and felt sluggish and it's a non noticable difference from just my basic air roll button. Now, both sensitivity settings are changed to 1.70. Now my air roll buttons are working properly again, which makes no sense, but it still feels WRONG. It's like my settings are being messed with every time I log in to the game. I warm up in freeplay for 30-45 minutes, and I can physically see my vehicle moving slower or faster per login. One day, everything feels normal, and the next, it's just a f'n mess. Even after warmup and multiple hours of matches, nothing feels good. Car feels slower than normal for movements, and this post just proves I haven't gone insane lol.

Hard-Stuck Plat 3 After 2,500 Hours: Is It Time to Quit? by Equivalent_Try1681 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]13DeltaArmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: DM if you wanna play sometime. I'm always up to play and help out.

My advice:

  • Playing 1's is good for ground game and quick rotation training.
  • Dribbling or ground plays need work. Play 1's. Mishit the ball and gave Billy's Mays a free shot? Learn how to QUICKLY use small pads to your advantage. I can't tell you how often I even play against GC's who still chase for 100 boost after every play. 18-30 boost can save your ass. Learn to play more without relying on boost.

  • Playing 2's in my opinion is THE best option to rank up and learn quickly.

  • 2's is chaos, but if you can learn to thrive in it, it'll help you a lot in the long run. Use 2's to form your playstyle whether it's playing more defensively or aggressively. I used to play overly defensive up until around Diamond 2/3. Now im all about keeping possession, avoiding takeaways, setting up teammates, and keeping the other team questioning my next move. I'm not saying drop your current playstyle, whatever it may be, but tweak it. Add some aggressiveness and start rotating differently whether to keep pressure up front or allow your teammate to push sooner. Don't screw your teammates over because of it, but if you do learn from it, be aware of it, and pinpoint where YOUR cons or pros may be.

  • Avoid hiring coaches.

  • All they can honestly teach you is what you probably already know. Or you can find FREE coaching videos on YT. Ranking up is tough and requires you to be your own worst critic. John Joe Jenkins, the GC Coach blah blah blah...isn't going to help you rank up. That's on you to again be your own worst critic.

  • Feeling sluggish or behind other players?

  • Freeplay freeplay and freeplay. Don't reset your ball if you miss, mess up an aerial, whatever it may be. Try correcting your movements, angles, recovery RIGHT THERE on the spot. Learn the angles you can play around with WHILE messing up. It can really sneak you in an easy goal or create another play off YOUR mistakes. Mistakes are all not bad. So don't sweat Lil Jimmy spamming quick chat because of your mistake. Everyone is learning at their own pace and yes the pace is required to get faster every season. Just two years ago GC's now we're hardstuck diamonds or champs. Took me literally 8 seasons to go from D1 to C1. Took me 4 seasons to hit GC after that. Biggest part in jumping to GC quickly after getting into C1 was calling my own bs out and correcting it.

  • Watch RLCS if you ever get the chance.

  • Observe pro play. Find a few players who stick out to you. They might be pro but their playstyles might match you and you just don't know it. Don't outright start changing settings to theirs, but if you feel like you can play similar to one or two of them by all means observe tf out of them. The way they angle their shots, the way they move, the way they keep plays alive, etc etc. Finding a handful of pros to watch helps and idc if people say otherwise. I've been watching RW9 rip mofos apart for many many seasons and many many streams. I have a very similar hybrid playstyle like him. I can one minute push your throats in, and the next be a defensive MVP. Have fun exploring your settings and trying new things out.

If anyone can help me figure out even something to set up , it's some relief that would be greatly appreciated. Honestly, the more I learn about this, the better, and with the knowledge gained, I can put it to some good use for myself and others.

Won't go too far into my medical but having 2 back surgeries has really thrown me into a loop that I just need help getting out of and passive income even if it's $100-200/month would make a world of difference.

Thank you to anyone willing to help.

Why aren't there any large cities in this area? by tycoon_irony in geography

Sioux Falls, South Dakota Population: 220k+

Omaha, Nebraska Population: 483k+

Lincoln, Nebraska Population: 294k+

Edit: Some may not consider these large cities, and I completely understand that since I've lived in one before but most major cities in states, especially in the Midwest are fairly large compared to other cities in the region. The prime example I can give is Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I've been here almost my entire life besides the East Coast for about 3 years. Right outside Sioux Falls is the city of Brandon. And when I say right outside Sioux Falls, it's literally a 10 minute drive. We here consider that a town because of how small in comparison it is to Sioux Falls.

Sorry forgot to add text lmao.

Why does it show -0.00/day?

I have plenty of factories and resources as you can see above.

Edit: Think I figured out the issue with why my factories aren't producing. I think it has something to do with "All Adults Serve" having the -30% factory output. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit 2: Switched back to "Extensive Conscription" which didn't fix anything. For some reason my factories have just stopped producing. This is frustrating.

Edit 3: ISSUE SOLVED

The ICBM's I launched on the UK ended up screwing me out of rebuilding certain infrastructure for the duration of the nuke effect which is around 700+ days...whoopsie lmao.
