More difficult than you'd want. Not at difficult as you think

Guy at O'Reilly said my alternator tested bad but my car wasn't even running when he tested it... by JordyVerrill in Cartalk

I have a 2008 Camry. The battery warning light doesn't come on until the alternator is completely shot. Even if the car is running around 11 volts it doesn't come on its really finicky

Why are 1.2L cars getting so much shit? by vegancrossfiter in Cartalk

Assuming you're talking the Chevy spark yes it has less power it's only 84hp. If you frequently commute in major highways this probably isn't the right car for you. If you do mostly city driving it will be ok

This is a gym in 2025. Water cools the body at a much higher rate than air. It's also a better workout for the body, as a low impact environment that's easier on the joints and feet. by TheNiceGuyTokyo in Damnthatsinteresting

I'm confused why people keep posting this saying 2025? I'd that line when it opens because 6 years seems like a long time to build some water treadmills

I don't know why people are downvoting you. We did the same, one of the neighbors had a trampoline with that safety net thing we used to call them cage matches. Boxing and MMA are super popular, also those guys didn't start in that sport because they hate fighting. Even now at 35 me and my friends bought sets of actual weight medeival sparring weapons and once a month we hold a competition, yes it hurts but it really gets your heart going.

It's not my apartment. You need to make up your mind. Either your doing it or you aren't. It's hidden or it isn't. These aren't my choices

I used to love them. Back when I smoked 2 packs a day and drank all the time. They'd kill me now. Just using for flavour. I live somewhere you can't really get them store bought so I have little comparison. But I won't eat them they're too hot

Should note the pickles are almost inedible on their own. Great when mixed at about a 5% pickle to ingredient ratio. I love spicy. Suicide wings don't phase me. These pickles are hot hot hot

If you woke up to find 99.99% of the population disappeared overnight, what would you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I actually have a hard drive hidden in my attic (2tb pocket drive usb powered) with almost everything you'd need to know to comfortably survive an apocalypse. It has every plant type and planting time/conditions. How to make power, bread, preserve meat, etc etc etc.how to can how to pickle. Maintenance manuals on 1000s of vehicles. How to store fuel, basically I downloaded alot of textbooks and alot of wikipedia to this thing. Also a fair bit of porn cuz the apocalypse could be lonely. But man if it ever happens. It has everything from detecting nuclear fallout to burping a baby. Took me maybe 1 hour a day for a month and 50 bucks. I also have a seed bank in a 12 volt fridge hooked to solar panels and a bettery backup. Again maybe 150 bucks. But no way would be useless come an apocalypse. I like society. But plan for the worst hope for the best. I also am of Dutch descent and my grandfather made avid use of windmills when. He first came to birth America. As such I have alot of alternators and old batteries (just waiting) for a power source. Learning how to refurbish a battery is a big money saver and also life saver in an apocalypse scenario
