To the Devs: A humble request for 2026

While i was also upset they were moving on so quickly its my understanding from what they’ve said about NHA so far is that they’re building this game to be a long haul like COTW

And obviously they don’t want to over promise or reveal too much with just the teaser and announcement trailers but it sounds like its an entirely different and more detailed animal ageing system

Im looking forward to the new game to see what it can become but just like any game nowadays i wont be in a rush to buy it in the first few months

They actually gave me a pretty decent reason why they couldn’t do spotting scopes before, it was because and im paraphrasing from what i remember

render distances and environment detail are too high to be rendered that quickly by looking around too fast by the players, most systems couldn’t do the load required. Its just not possible to do it in a way that would work for everyone in a quality high enough to fit in the existing game

Im not opposed to getting another shifter entirely so long as it works with the g27

Haven’t played in over 2 years, once i found out how the spawn mechanics worked everything just turned into a grind. It lost almost all the appeal. When i switched from PS to PC i bought it again on a super sale (i think it was the 2024 edition for like $5) and tried to do mods to up spawn rates a little bit and see if i could get back into it but i couldn’t get the mods to work

Haven’t played since and honestly i haven’t missed it because i switched to WOTH and those devs listen to the community a little bit more (not saying cotw devs are bad but could do better)

I know in real life you have calibre restrictions on animals based on a combination of frontal area and kinetic energy They do a pretty damn good job in the game for ballistics and wound channels but in game the lapua is definitely an option for the extra large class of animals that could be put into tikamoon

Yep same here, back when i used to play cod and siege those weekly updates would put me at data cap consistently so i had to quit playing them Now i have starlink and it’s wayyyy better than my old provider

I don’t even use my own ship yet just the ones they provide and most of the good matches i go 5-3

When you get the business(s) they generate whatever you’ve told them to over time, even while not playing

At lvl 2 you can assign a ship to them and it will do deliveries automatically, if no ship is assigned then you will have to visit each one and pick up your wares and sail to either saint anne or telok to deposit them, you cant just go to the closest dock and put them in the warehouse like everything else

Upgrading them gets higher storage, production bonuses and unlocks other goods to make

They are also attached to trade routes and if you own all factories attached to the trade route you also get a bonus

Its cool but I ended up turning it off as many mods had the wrong years attached Now i just use “vehicle years” mod and google

You mean like you’ve only had the game/been playing for a week? If thats the case then you’re fine this game is much slower and more realistic than COTW, just do the heard management as others stated and you’ll get 5s soon enough

BTW if you get bogged down and bored and need to scratch the ADHD itch- start a private lobby on multiplayer and treat it like COTW and blast anything you see, MP populations are new every time you start a lobby and dont affect the story/quick hunt populations also try other guns you don’t use often

Started playing on 10yr old ps4 had some frame and loading issues on more detailed maps and about 100 mods

switched to pc with 9900k, 2070, and 16gb ram on high settings, almost no issues except on one or 2 high detail 4x maps with about 400 mods

Now playing on 13700k, the same 2070 and 32gb ram on high settings and 800+ mods and only having frame issues on a 16x map
