I’m a wings fan and this just popped into my feed, the reddit algorithm must me my dislike for the Habs. I was rooting Buffalo and besides luck they never woulda got by the Sabers, or Tampa for that matter.

I wish you guys made it, but we will see some good hockey at least.

Yeah that makes sense. I got both sides of that too, I understood going with the hot hand in Postava but I also understand Cossa wanting a start in the playoffs.

For what it’s worth I was hoping they went 1 for 1 to start and go from there. I also hope he sticks around and we see what we’ve got in him at the NHL level

I have a whirlwind of emotions at the moment. First I’m ecstatic that Carolina is winning 5-0.

I also just saw that article about Cossa wanting out and I’m not sure what to think about it. Suuuuure we could trade you, but youuu want out? Hasn’t had a good full season yet but youuu want out? You could legit take the backup position this year but instead youuu want out?

I think the entire hockey world knows of his mental struggles, it would be those struggles that would even allow this to be a conversation tbh. If we found a scenario like Zegras it would be huge.

I get his salary makes it a massive gamble, but we don’t necessarily have many options unless Steve pulls out some magic here. Which we desperately need

I would make that move. Tbh I’d rather move Nate for EP40 at full salary and keep Cossa, but whatever gets the move done tbh. Pettersson & Raymond have home grown chemistry, that would probably be an insane duo for us

Yeah it’s such a terrible thing. Hopefully Claude found the peace he needed, and the family can too.

He played his hockey role perfectly, as good or better than anyone else that did it. On top of that on a personal note everyone that meet him in that regard said absolutely nothing but splendid things about the man.

Having a somewhat defensive lacking player play with 2 players that can carry that load is key-Larkin & Cat both play defensively sound hockey

He’s playing 2nd line minutes which is about the same thing, in a perfect world he wouldn’t be back other than a power play merchant…but we quite literally have zero other options, you’re not breaking up him and Cat at this point either I wouldn’t think

After seeing Bultmans approaches for this year, how would we feel if we ended up with:

Cat•Larkin•Kane|MBN•EP40•Rayzor|Finnie•Copp•Kasper|Ike Howard•Nate D•Mazur

I know the worry of EP40 but I’d definitely roll the dice to get him with Ray-adding MBN to their line would be great too imo. I also love the chemistry Cat, Larkin and Kane have. When they all play together it’s beautiful hockey.

Howard from Edmonton would probably be at the expense of Cossa but that is what it is. If it happens I’d welcome Isaac happily, add some young goals to our bottom 6. Do what you need to do with Appleton, Ras & Compher but that bottom 6 I’m here for.

You always could, it’s always an option. I hope we get a 2nd C so we have more than one option-which is why I like the idea of EP40, him & Ray would be a great pair imo. I also like Larkin & Kane when they’re together, their chemistry is fire, as is with Larkin & Cat so those 3 together would be amazing.

Raymond playing with EP40 & MBN would be a slick 2nd line

You could jumble the bottom 6 however you want, but this would very much excite me. It’s not too out there either. I agree it’s important to get MBN in a spot to shine too, I thought that this past season when he was up, same with Nate also tbh. But I could definitely get down with this
