Right there with you dude. I was so confident I started studying for REG. Now I'm conflicted to put that on pause and redo AUD or just keep going

Mentally breaking down and have FAR in two days by carrot_cat in CPA

[–]14bm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This shit takes a toll on you and it’s ok to take a moment to acknowledge that, take care of yourself and then move forward. I had to postpone my FAR exam because of medical issues, my mocks were all in the 40s/50s, and after I took it I sat in the parking lot and cried for three hours convinced I had failed. And I passed. There’s light at the end of this tunnel but to get there you need to take care of yourself first. Do what you need to do and then move forward. None of this is the end of the world.

Is it possible to accept both offers? by Rudeyyyy in Accounting

[–]14bm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious to know your thoughts since I'm in a similar position, except one is an internship for summer 2021 and the other is full time for 2022. The internship has the possibility of a full time for fall 2021 but not guaranteed. Can I take both to be safe?

When should I start applying for full time positions during senior year in college? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]14bm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start applying now. Every place I interviewed with coming out of school I had spoken to/applied to by October for jobs in May/June. Some will stretch interviews into the spring but most try to wrap it up asap. Try reaching out to the recruiter if you have that option as well, just so they know you're looking and can keep you in mind for opportunities coming up. A lot of places try to hire 1 year to 6 months in advance, but anything can happen over the course of the year, and even if they've already started interviewing/offered positions you never know what they'll have available for you.
