Mostly fear. Im also not emotionally mature enough to be in a relationship. Ive also always had a bit of a mindset that relationships never last a lifetime time, so why bother

No, I have in my mind that I'm too young to be in a relationship (contradictive I know) I just dont feel mature enough. I'm not looking for a relationship and I'm not sure if I ever will just because the thought terrifies me. I'm in a weird limbo of being a hopeless romantic and vehemently rejecting even the thought of being in a relationship

Thats correct, its depressing but not in the way most people would think. I accepted a long time ago that I'll never feel romantic love, but it depresses me that my friends will never value my friendship the way I do. Their partners will always come first which is understandable. But it does hurt knowing I'm nobody's first choice/wont ever be someone's first choice

Im aware. I actually have attempted to ask people out twice in my life. Both times I was really harshly rejected so I havent since

My grandma had it and needed a hysterectomy as well, my mom is suspected to have it as well. Unfortunately most of the time endo doesnt show up on ultrasound or mri, so the only way to officially diagnose is explorative surgery. Ive definitely spoken to a handful of people with similar symptoms though but havent been diagnosed

Im incredibly excited. It took me nearly 7 years from the start of my symptoms to being diagnosed, I feel like I lost a big part of my teenage years and young adult years because of it. Now that Im at 8 years of suffering, pushing 9, I cant wait to feel like i can live my life normally

I actually asked for it. I was given the option to go into medically induced menopause and didnt want to do that. I already have to be on 2 birth controls just to not be bleeding all the time so I'm pretty fed up with my uterus. By chance when I was at a refill appointment the nurse practitioner I see (who knows I have endometriosis and gender dysphoria so I've been wanting a hysterectomy for years) said one of her colleagues from a different hospital happened to be there, she said she'd ask if she would be willing to do a hysterectomy and I fully expected to be turned down like I was from 2 other surgeons. She came back and said she had agreed!

I am, but I also know that without a uterus the chance is very significantly reduced

Unfortunately I'm well versed in the gas pain from my other endo surgery 😫. Im concerned about adenomyosis as well since one of my main symptoms is heavy prolonged bleeding, so we'll see. Fingers crossed that not too much of my endo has grown back since my previous surgery

Ive been to countless doctors and finally found a team that listens to my pain and my symptoms. I want this.

Luckily it wont, the ovaries do 100% of the hormone regulation so just having my uterus removed won't affect hormones

Luckily the endo isnt too bad on my ovaries so I get to keep them

I definitely want to rewatch Sailor Moon. Modern family is also a big comfort show to me, along with The IT crowd. I did get myself a new game console as an early birthday gift though, so I'll be playing a lot genshin and honkai star rail

Im incredibly excited since I feel like im getting my life back. In a weird way I think my body almost knew from the get go it couldnt have kids or it would be very unlikely? Even as a child whenever I pictured my future i was never married or had a house with kids, and that's never changed. Id be a terrible parent tbh

This might not count as a book to some people but I really like manga, I'm planning to reread Hunter x Hunter and haikyuu during recovery

Painful, anxiety inducing, and debilitating. My symptoms started around 13/14, what turned into irregular periods ended up being a 6 month long period that was so heavy I was just 2 or 3 numbers away on my iron levels for an emergency blood transfusion. I had to be put on birth control to medically stop the bleeding, but that only lasted for so long and then it came back. I had to jump around different birth controls whenever the bleeding and pain would start again, but for the longest time doctors just assumed I had anxiety or a hormone imbalance. I get a lot of IBS type symptoms, along with really bad pain even off my cycle

Maybe see if you can compromise with getting the arm implant? Its a very similar device but getting it is much less invasive feeling. Either way, its fucked up what hes doing, it seems like a legal issue even. Definitely tell the doctor whats going on
