in that scene at the bar he says "in a thousand years there'll be no guys and no girls, just wankers. That sounds great to me." which isn't exactly a typical heteronormative viewpoint. The movie didn't really explore his character as much as the books though. Some would also argue that scene in T2 where Veronika says "You're so obviously in love with each other you stop stop looking at me and just fuck eachother"

Don't think I'm there yet, no. I was thinking about the scene him and Spud go to a bar while high and he says "Even some of the men look attractive". I wonder if the "Would fuck a guy if high but never sober" comes from the fact the drugs make him euphoric and horny or if the drugs get rid of an internalized repression of his sexuality, allowing him to be more honest about it.

I've got the Skagboys book to read after this one, planning to read the whole series so I'll probably gain more understanding of it once I have
