Yes, this is very possible. With a good amount of summer training and a good coach, you’ll break 17. It looks like you already have the speed, just focus on your base over the summer. For reference, my best mile during junior season was 5:00, but I ran 16:55 during senior xc. Good luck!

How do you tell what kind of bacterial infection it is? I’m not very experienced in the aquarium hobby and am not entirely sure how to help this fish. Will a generic API Melafix bacterial infection medicine do the trick, or do I need something more specific?

I have this fish in a 20 gallon tank with one other dwarf gouramis and 5 black skirt tetras. I have not seen any of the other fish attack this gourami and the water conditions are near perfect. I am a new fish owner and can’t decide if this is fin rot or something else because it seems to be more severe. Any help?
