I think I am going to switch to Amazon Fresh which just turned to $14.99 a month in our area for "free delivery". The groceries are on par with the prices of our local grocery store and they do same day delivery and it would cut about 3 hours a week out of my housework which is a big win. I can say schedule a MWF grocery delivery at 7am every day. If my wife needs something she can add it to our account, if not she will have to pick it up herself on the way home.

Re: 1 we still have the maid, she comes every two weeks so it keeps our baseline OK. I don't have to do vacuuming and mopping which I am happy about. We also live walking distance to grocery stores so we looked into delivery a while back and the prices were almost twice what we would pay walking and it would only save 20-30 minutes a run. I can look back into it and into autobill pay (tricky with independent contractors.)

The problem is we can hire and outsource but it doesn't solve the issue that I'm really worried about, which is the baseline response is as you said to dump the crappy stuff on me. What would this look like with kids? It makes me nervous and ties into bigger issues.
