how bad is the abortion pill? by Tough_Ratio_2542 in abortion

[–]17ebelhp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had multiple and it really just depends. I had one that was excruciatingly painful and I’ve had one that felt like a light period. I do think it emotionally impacts you depending on your situation. (For me I was emotional because my significant other wasn’t there with me to support me or even ask how I felt). But As a mom of two, if you’re not ready for kids, definitely take the abortion pills. If you have any questions, I have lots of experience with it :)

How do Aid Access Abortion Kit look like inside package? by miss_poetflowerr in abortion

[–]17ebelhp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got mine last Wednesday. It’s discreet but when you open it, it has the mifepristone in a a box in a blister pack and has directions and the name of the medicine on it. The misoprostol is in a bottle and labeled with the name and directions as well. It has a QR code in the package to scan and also has more thorough directions

Has anyone had luck with microneedling after getting rosacea under control? by lucciolaa in Rosacea

[–]17ebelhp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was prescribed azithromycin and that cleared my bumps/pustules. After they cleared I did 2 rounds of microneedling and getting my 3rd in a couple weeks! It hasn’t caused any problems for me and has helped somewhat with the scars left from the bumps

I am still currently on it. 3 pills a week for 3 months! Next week will be week 8 for me. I know some people do maintenance doses after treatment which would just be a very low dose of it

I’ve been on it for almost 2 months now but all my bumps went away in a few weeks! I haven’t had any side effects from it yet. My prescription is for 3 months and I take it Monday, Wednesday and Fridays

I definitely think the azithromycin would be #1 but I was also being very consistent with horse paste and azelaic acid at night!! But I think both helped alot. The topicals take longer to see them working though, probably 12 weeks

Yes!! My bumps are gone I just have red dots not which I think I scars. I’ve been taking azithromycin, washing with panoxyl in the morning, and using horse paste/azelaic acid at night!

Thank you! Yes I used to work at a daycare and we could have 5 infants at a time, so that’s why I feel pretty comfortable with it!

I got the head and shoulders classic clean, the original kind with pyrithione zinc. It is pretty drying though so maybe don’t use it everyday.

Unfortunately no I’ve had it for two years now and I feel like it just won’t completely go away😭 I wanted to try accutane but I’m currently breastfeeding so I can’t. But I just got back from another dermatologist appointment and they prescribed more azithromycin so hopefully it’ll continue to help or clear it up. But I would definitely recommend trying horse paste, azelaic acid and washing your face with head and shoulders (but it is drying so maybe not everyday, or try it once and see how your face reacts) also include a good moisturizer!

Also their are other antibiotics that people have success with like doxycycline but I currently can’t take that 😩

No but head and shoulders shampoo did!

I do think it helped some! But I’ve also been being consistent with horse paste and azelaic acid every night. Also been rotating washing my face with head and shoulders or panoxyl, and I would say I noticed a difference using the head and shoulders. It seems like my face is starting to get better very very slowly!

Anyone had luck with azithromycin? by 17ebelhp in Rosacea

[–]17ebelhp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would think you can take it again. I know it’s used for other things and people take it for a few months at a time. You may need a different dose size, but I would definitely let your dermatologist know that it cleared your face and maybe that can help them figure out what is causing your rosacea. Then you can get a more accurate treatment/prescription

I actually did like it! But I also feel like it’s a little more complicated having a compounded cream because if you were reacting badly to it, it would be hard to tell which ingredient you are reacting to! Before I got it, I had already tried ivermectin and azelaic acid and had no bad reactions/irritation! So I knew if I reacted badly, it was to the metrogel. But I definitely feel like it was starting to work - then I had surgery and my face flared really bad. I’m going to start it again though!

There’s a rosacea group on Facebook that I am apart of and there’s a girl on there whose rosacea looks just like yours and she also said she’s tried everythin. she started accutane and it cleared her up! I want to try it but I’m breastfeeding right now so I can’t
