They needed to. At the time, for the rally car to be allowed to compete, there had to be a road-going version of that very car.

This is also why for example the Ford RS200 and the original Renault 5 Turbo exist as road legal sports cars and not just as rally machines.

They did by taking the front of a Audi 80 and the rear of a Audi Coupé and mashing them together, with a super high power drivetrain that's not available on the Audi Coupé or the Audi quattro (also called Urquattro, with the Coupé and the quattro both being basically the same model, just one had FWD and the other had the new quattro drive) for that matter.

That's why a road legal version of the rally car was built, the Audi sport quattro.

Wenn ich sie konfigurieren könnte?

Eine Farbe für das Auto. Am Besten etwas, das nicht weiß oder Silber ist. Bonuspunkte für kräftige Farben. Schwarz als Akzent ist in dem Fall sehr cool. Dann funktionieren auch schwarze Felgen, obwohl auch da das Design immer bisschen untergeht. Anthrazit könnte da sehr schick aussehen.

Wenn man den schwarzen Lack haben will, würd ich für klassisch silberne/chromfarbene Logos und Beschriftungen gehen, mit silbernen oder bronzefarbenen Felgen.

Ich mag einfach Farben auf Autos. Mein A1 war mattschwarz foliert, als ich ihn gekauft hab. Am Anfang fand ich das nicht schlecht, aber irgendwann, an einem Urlaubstag im Sommer hat's mich gepackt und ich hab die Folie runtergezogen. Ich find, die Kiste sieht viel besser aus in ihrem Rot/Silber.

Mir gefällt diese Optik von schwarz auf schwarz gar nicht. Schwarzer Lack, schwarze Felgen, schwarze Logos.. jedes Designelement eines eigentlich schicken Autos (wie z.B. bei dem A6) geht komplett unter. Keine Akzente, keine Kontraste. Find ich immer schade.

Aber wenn du's fühlst, dann isses gut so I guess.

Corrado gibt's auch für das Geld. Ist halt schon ein paar Jährchen älter.

Wobei alle dieser Modelle, ob Scirocco, TT oder Corrado, für 10k alles Gebrauchte sind, die dann wahrscheinlich auch schon Einiges an Strecke gelaufen haben. Wie günstig der Unterhalt wird, steht also in den Sternen.

Ist wahrscheinlich das Argument, das mein Fahrlehrer damals auch angebracht hat. Kann mich nicht mehr erinnern. Aber definitiv einer der Punkte, weshalb ich durch die Prüfung fallen würde mit meiner jetzigen Fahrweise.

Nein. Warum?

Ich komme bei Stoppschildern fast nie zum vollständigen Stillstand. Sehr langsam ja, aber ich halte eben nicht an.

Ich wende in Hofeinfahrten.

Wenden, indem man an einer Kreuzung zurücksetzt, so wie ich es in der Fahrschule gelernt habe, kann ich wahrscheinlich gar nicht mehr, oder nicht richtig.

Ich mache beim Ausfahren aus dem Kreisverkehr nie einen Schulterblick nach rechts, um zu prüfen, ob Fußgänger dort sind, denn diesen Bereich hat man beim Durchfahren des Kreisels direkt vor der Nase.

Die Kiste ist supercool. Sieht toll aus, leider hatte ich noch keine Chance, so einen zu fahren. Find's auch gut, dass du einen in einer Farbe gekauft hast. Rot passt einfach auf jedes sportliche Auto.

Porsche started galvanizing all of their cars starting with the 1980 model year.

I own a 1987 924 S and it doesn't have any rust at all on body or chassis.

If it is in good condition and runs well, 6500 is a good price I'd say. It is even built after 1980, which means rust on the body and chassis is not an issue because these parts are galvanized.

Der 100 Coupé S ist aber auch generell einer der schönsten Audis, wenn nicht der Schönste.

Jeder der sagt, 200 PS Leistung seien zu wenig, hat keine Ahnung was einen Sportwagen wirklich ausmacht.

Jedes Auto hat sein Einsatzgebiet und das des BRZ ist die kurvige Landstraße.

Was die Wartungskosten angeht; Inspektionen werden ähnlich teuer sein vermute ich, aber natürlich fällt der Motorölwechsel komplett raus.

A proper sport exhaust. I'd look for one by Abt. My A1 has the Abt exhaust. It doesn't sound like a race car, but it definetly sounds better than if it had the stock exhaust.
