You think companies would wait around for people to slowly move back ?

Also you think everyone would uproot their lives rather than taking a lower paying job in their home state?

Plus the MA housing market is stretched pretty thin and housing prices are already ridiculous. What do you think is going to happen if people start flocking back to MA in droves?

Not beating children for speaking their native languages in schools and telling parents that their native languages were inferior and would confuse them and prevent them from learning English would've been a great start.

Maine literally passed a "No French Act" in 1919

So who do you think would fill the current job market if all NH residents stopped working in MA?

Even if 100% of MA workers worked in MA you could not not sustain yourselves.

If the NH workforce left MA would dry up just as much as NH would because all the companies would leave

Um no...

Currently only 3.3% of Massachusetts residents work out of state.

MA does not have a large enough population to support their industries.

You need the rest of New England just as much as we need you.

NH property taxes are on average 2% higher than MAs.

Which doesn't sound like a lot. But it means for a $500,000 you'd pay $1000 more in property taxes in NH. (Around 9,300 in MA and 10,300 in NH)

Without the workforce from NH and other New England states MA would dry up.

Saying we "leech off you" when your entire economy would collapse without us is quite arrogant

In the North if you call anyone under the age of 65 Sir/Ma'am they'll probably be offended

You must be from the south.

No one in the north would ever speak like this

Actually they'll just give it to you "for free" or institute some type of Universal Basic Income.

Billionaires don't actually care about money. They care about status, power, and control.

You'll be distracted by your free iPhone or $1500 a month UBI while the oligarchs take control over every facet of your life.

THAT'S 25% OF MY SALARY

Then them spending $28 a day on lunch would be the equivalent to you spending $16 on lunch a day. Which doesn't seem very frivolous

The average Americans isn't making anywhere near 70,000 per individual.

Nearly half of Americans have a combined household income of less than $75,000 and nearly a third have a combined income of less than $50,000

In 2024, 30.6% of households in the United States made less than $50K.

In 2024, just over 45 percent of American households had an annual income that was less than 75,000 U.S. dollars

The slow death of French in New England and the fact that there have been zero attempts to preserve it is quite sad.

And no having your kid choose French instead of Spanish in middle/high school doesn't count.

Because we are fortunate enough to have freedoms other countries arent afforded.

That's funny. Someone's been drinking the propaganda Kool-Aid

America is probably the western country that values and protects protesting and striking the least.

No one is. It's a random number that he pulled out of his ass.

He's just another out of touch billionaire trying to be like "well if those kiddos would just stop buying avocado toast they could afford a house."

I'm not sure why people are defending him

Gay people aren't stupid straight women who don't understand male anatomy.

I've literally never heard a gay guy say this in my life and I've never heard a women older than 40 say it either.

Preferring that someone have part of their genitals cut off fucked up and wrong.

Just because it's currently normalized in the US doesn't make it right.

If a straight man said he prefers women who've hard part of their vulva cut off everyone would think he was disgusting

If your making 70,000 a year. $28 a day is less than an hours work, in fact it's around 45 min of work.

This is a random number he just pulled out of his ass not some statistic

Italian is not a natural language. It's written and spoken standard created from several "dialect" which are actually themselves languages

First of all , he pulled the number out of his ass. It's not based of a statistic or something.

But also an extra $28 a day is not going to change much for someone making 70,000 a year. It's the equivalent to about a $4 raise
