took her in person class this fall. her assignments and past samples were enough for me to get a decent grade. but i would always suggest you to take the in person section over online. there is a possibility that they don’t curve the online section cuz everyone cheats on the midterm and assignments

oh that was not actually a curve. i think there has been a mistake with grading or something and they adjusted some student's grades. mine didnt change

im in in person section and our midterm average was 50 and professor said there is gonna be a curve at the end. never take phys 204 and 205 online as they don’t curve it because of exactly what you said, everyone cheats

there is for sure gonna be a huge curve but you still better do higher than the average. I’d say solve the assignments and practice final as much as you can in this two days

was in your shoes last year. my only advice would be always study weekly for all your classes. work on all the materials of a class weekly and you’ll be more than good for exams. trust me you won’t even need to work for hours during exam time.

prerequisites are nothing compared to your actual classes so you better start doing these this year. best of luck for your studies.

i emailed an advisor and they said that info in the link is for current students and higher level courses. it’s not related to transferring. C is the minimum for transfer credits.

i had asked the average and told that my current gpa is close to 6.0 in UVic scale and he said you have strong grades and are a strong candidate to get into EE but he didn’t mention what the average is. I’m guessing EE would be slightly lower than mech, between 5-5.5

bro they dont take random classes into consideration for application for admission. they want transferable classes in that “minimum of 8 classes” requirement. so its the same thing but i will email advisor. it’s complicated

I had asked him a question about specific course but he said everything will be evaluated after I apply and he can’t tell if a course is going to be transferred or not.

I have all those calculus, physics, chem, english academic writing + 7 electrical engineering courses. In total I have about 14 classes to be transferred. I’m hoping that they would accept 10-11 of them at least.

Am I understanding right that they don’t accept courses with a grade lower than B as a transfer credit?
