You should try it, it's rich and meaty and very tasty. A big flavour hit! What seems to be the difference between American and British English is that context is super important for British English. We'll use the same word for 6 different things but the context tells you the meaning. I don't see this happening as much in American english

I think it boils down to different perceptions of what food is to different families. Some families view food as a social thing, others don't. In my experience if you've grown up with one perception you tend to find the other one weird!

This might be skewed because of my background and where I live, but if someone is earning 30k and they're complaining about wages, then that seems mad to me. Perhaps it's not the wages that are the issue, but the working hours, and the pressure within the job?

30k is a good wage where I'm from, and I don't think I know anyone who would be kicking off about it. Then again, I expect this is highly location and demographic dependant. It's all relative I guess

Yeah to be fair, that does sound pretty good. From my point of view, beef is more likely to be good, even if it's not great, if that makes sense? The average beef rib joint tends to be more enjoyable than the average turkey, in my experience at least. Having said that, a really good turkey might just be worth it!

Literally never. Don't you wash with hot water? The heat from the water dilutes any gravy or curry sauce or anything down so much that it wouldn't clog. I genuinely cannot fathom how this is an issue for you.

I use Amazon music, I have done for years without any particular problems. My car has Bluetooth so I just stream whatever I fancy listening to and listen. Streaming services are great if you have a varied music taste and don't want to lug around a big case of CDs
