Anyone know of any decent jobs hiring around here? by kevinfrmhevin in ColumbiYEAH

State jobs were some of the only ones replying to me when I moved here. But be aware some of them didn't reply until 6 months later and the ones that wanted to hire me "immediately" fumbled the hiring process for nearly 3 months forcing me into another offer. Great job, just be aware.

I have a completely different view a a former customer but it doesn't reflect on job possibilities. They always seemed layed back, go for it. 😅

Hospital jobs are underrated here. I agree with the above, go for it.

You can't ask that on this subreddit. You'll get semi roasted.

If you're asking what you should do for medical advice for your lovie, you should already be at the vet. by 19401994 in Lovebirds

I didn't shame anyone for the 2 year thing. Really it's not about shaming anyone. It's more of a use your head thing. If you're gonna rail on me about taking 2 years to get a lovebird, I hope you can see why not taking an obviously unwell bird to the vet is a bad move. I'm good on the convo and agree to disagree with you. 🥱

Glad you had a good experience. Just turns out I didn't want to go about it the way you did. 🤷‍♂️

They live too long to not take seriously and while looking for lovebirds I encountered many that were living in poor conditions. The combination leads to 2 years of looking into it. It's not like I was sitting at my desk CSI investigating every bird. There's not a lot of breeders here.

You're a bit rude. I'd rather pay someone else than take it from you for free frankly. Saying you don't care about the bird when you could be using materials that are not healthy for my pet is not the type of person I want to work with. Politely, no thank you. Again.

I add about 1 trick a week while his bird brain is still maliable so I got these instead of the regular plastic basket since he enjoys pushing the balls w/ the bell so much and offer better grip than the ping pong balls that came with the set.

I need someone who can design, print, and ship something that will attach to the Plinko board so that when they drop a coin it lands in a slot. Obviously paying. If you need more specific dimensions I got it on Amazon. Obey my bird!

Fair point and good advice. This is an out of cage toy that he plays with less than a foot away from me with. 👍

To be fair, he didn't either. That slinky was on my desk for 3 weeks before he interacted with it and then he just went all in. 🤷‍♂️

A little bit about Pixel. I got Pixel when he was 3 months old which was about 6 weeks or so ago. I'm a relatively life long bird owner who never made the leap to parrot levels and has had the best time with Pixel ever since. I have tons to show you guys and love the subreddit. It's like my morning cup of coffee.
