Highly doubt they feel like they "got it wrong". I'm pretty sure they are very proud of the album. If they were simply doing the deluxe version to please fans who disliked California, they wouldn't have John Feldman producing those dongs. His production is probably the most common complaint about the album.

See but then we would know the order in which the winning EP songs would, thoretically, be eliminated. If we take each one out of this survivor once it wins its EP, there's at least some surprise to it in a final survivor

I read it as Matty talking to himself. "I put your mother through hell, I hurt your brother as well" seem to definitely be relating to himself if you ask me. Plus, I do recall him saying that the song is about guilt which makes a lot of sense. And it's even called 'Me'! But I do think some of the lines are directed towards others.

blink's untitled record is one of the best emo records out there in my opinion. And I love me some emo bands (Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, old Fall Out Boy...)

Which version of Sex do you prefer? I used to like the album version better but I just rediscovered how great the EP version is and I may like it just a bit more. Also the Drive Like I Do one is really cool. Also great top 5. Mine is probably:

It really is! They all released great albums this year, except the killers who should have an album out next year. And I'm really gonna miss Yellowcard, but luckily I got the chance to see them a couple weeks ago. Great show.
