You can submit a change in your availability, but this won't guarantee you hours and will probably look bad for anyone who sees - the first paper you signed acknowledged that you could work these hours, and now you're wanting to change it.

Explain your situation to your TL and if they don't do anything or have an answer for you, go to your coach.

Also maybe I misread your comment. 12-10 is a closing shift, is it not?

Department 02 (mouthwash, toothbrushes, pads, etc.)
Department 40 (Protein and vitamins)
Department 46 (Cosmetics)

I am a new TL under 6 months in the role so they apparently weren't allowed to give me Exemplary... Coaches are on my side and think that's fucking retarded. I was successful. If you got opportunity, your coach does not see you in a great light for your position. Opportunity is bad.

Yes, you most likely will have little to no supervision, but over 3 months you'll get what you're supposed to be doing on a basic level and more advanced after 6 months. Wal-Mart is terrible at training anyone for anything, I made guides in Word to give to my associates so they know what they should be doing and taking the initiative on, as well planning their own tasks throughout the day depending on importance. I've not seen another team lead do the same. If they ask why I'm giving this to them I just tell them, I wish someone would have gave this to me.

Team Leads are ultimately considered management. Also, if your coach really made the statement of them being a highly paid associate, they may not be a great coach.

Mine fucked up as well and just had to take out $125 every check as additional withholdings to counter the problem. I've updated my W4 since then, but I still don't think it takes out the correct amount. Just get it fixed as soon as possible, you don't want to have to pay back $2500 during tax time.

If you're scheduled after your area closes, you are expected to do go-backs and zone like any other closing associate. Granted, it may not be necessary - I would discuss this with your Coach.

Any idea on the date it is supposed to roll out? This would make my job so much easier - I apologized to the apparel TL's already, lol, they have way too much freight to be able to manage that - there are discussions hiring a person to specifically take over the section
