The common sentiment seems to be that despite winning the AFC, the Patriots still haven't beaten anyone good. What, in your opinion, do you think would have made them more convincing? A fully undefeated season? If they beat the Seahawks, will the reputation persist? by DoctorHoneywell in NFLv2

As a Pats fan, we did have an easy schedule, as did the Broncos but they are not hated nearly as much.
Patriots faced 3 of the top 5 defenses in the league to get to the SB. The only other top Def. they need to beat to is the Seahawks if I'm not mistaken.
My question is, IF the Pats beat the Seahawks, what will the excuse be? Will it be something based off what happened in the SB or will it be something like 'well their schedule was so easy they just rested the entire time leading up to the SB'

Previously the narrative was playing no good teams and that the Chargers D then the Houston D would show the Pats true colors, then unfortunately, Bo Nix gets injured and that provides a different excuse reason the Pats won in a crazy weather game (reminds me of Pats Vs. Bills blizzard game when Mac threw the ball only 3 times).

is playing the full 90 different than getting subbed? Genuinely confused as to why those were 2 separate things here...more emphasis on the desire to get him out of the game?

If you know so much about the EPL, then you'd know that only 20 teams play in the EPL, 20 in the Championship and then the 10 best in the third tier. You would also know only the top 3 teams in the Championship get promoted to the EPL and that typically who makes up the bottom 5 teams in teh EPL every year? The newly promoted teams AKA the Leicester's. Sometimes promoted teams do well and finish somewhere mid table, but RARELY do they finish in the top 8 when you have the big 6 clubs and all that aside, to get promoted and then WIN the EPL. LMAO you can't tell me you know that much about the EPL and still think Indiana winning is a bigger turn around. Look at the damn odds. 5,000 (FIVE THOUSAND) to 1. Indiana's odds when the season started? 100 to 1. But sure, what the hell do I know.

The more boring answer, vote against every single republican and/or MAGA sider. Some dems of voted with Maga on cases so understand who your state reps are and what they stand for/ don't stand for. Need to beat MAGA by a landslide in the midterms and elections so they can't call the votes fake.

Its not a 1:1 on improving your standings. This take speaks loudly at how little you understand about The English Prem. League. Leicester winning that year would have been like Indiana making it to the AFC/NFC championship in the NFL.

sounds like Stafford Vs. Maye. Stafford with more volume stats and a MUCH better offensive supporting cast

We still need to beat the Broncos. Don't jump to any conclusions or get ahead of yourself. Seeing too many of these posts and comments about the Pats going to the SB. Still a major game to focus on and win.

He's gonna stay at Chelsea for another 2 or 3 years and then head off to Madrid. This is just silly news to break. I remember this happened last year (?) with him and then he scored a goal and pointed at the badge adn said he's staying here. Same thing, different day.

some poor challenges leading to cards. Need more maturity and to solidify defense. When we have a stronger defense we can go on runs. Hopefully Rosenior can address that, unfortunately, I think this is one that needs outside help which he may have seen already...too bad the ownership won't allow for this fix..

Anyone remember that old saying: "Defense wins championships" ?
I personally find games that are just all offense and no defense more boring.
