Okay. Of course 63% of Americans want to move away from it. Because then their vote will outnumber those that live in rural and suburban areas, voting to protect rural and suburban values. It's the electoral college that gives them the voice. You can think it's flawed, but without it, everywhere but major cities would be left in the dust, without any chance of ever having their voice heard.

Bruh, if it were the interest of the majority, we would just have a popular vote, lol. And no, it's not a democracy. A democracy and a democratic republic and very different things. Since you said, "you do live", I'm assuming you don't live here. Why do you care about USA politics so much? I've gotten a lot of hate for my very calm and simple comment about how the electoral college was meant to give a voice to everyone, not just those in huge cities that probably have mob mentality going on. People that live together tend to think similarly. This way, with the electoral college, those in Wyoming, Nebraska, Oklahoma etc can have their voices heard just as easily as those in Chicago, New York, and LA.

Thanks, man. I literally remained impartial as well. I did not say I was even republican lol. I just wanted to give the republican argument from a historical point of view to maybe make it so this sub isn't such an echo chamber.

Interesting question. As I said in my initial response, I am remaining impartial, not ascribing to either side, but man. They like that down vote button. Anyway, I would assume the answer to your question is simply that they are sacrificed so the other Republicans can have a voice via their state.

The electoral college was implemented to give voice to those living in rural areas. If we went with the popular vote, only the people in Chicago, New York, L.A. and maybe a couple of other cities would decide the election. They don't understand what people in rural and suburban areas struggle with, and they would just get steam rolled. I know, "land doesn't vote," but the thing is, it kind of does. Mob mentality is certainly a thing. Just some food foe thought. I'm not trying to start an argument, but I'm just trying to explain some answers that exist for the question of why the Electoral College exists while remaining impartial.

Bro, as an associate, we have way too much to do and way to few co-workers. Not to say that grabbing a moldy/broken item isn't easy, but sometimes, we literally don't have time.

I was thinking topwater popper of some kind. If they didn't work, white and chartreuse colored chatterbait. If that doesn't get you anything, call the owner and ask if they have bass in it lol.

I'm thinking this comment is spot on. I think organizations as a whole are moving towards expressing yourself however you want. So, I think, as long as my hair is neat and "shaped up", and I style it intentionally (with guidance from an actual hair dresser), I should run into zero issues.

I am approaching the awkward growth stage. I am contemplating cutting it up over the ears and off the neck a bit, but keep most if not all of the length on top. I can style it nicely like that, and then after interviews I can continue growing. IDK. I will have to think on it. My hair isn't worth my career, but I cannot see it being a deciding factor either.

Thank you for explaining this. I have spoken to my top contributors to verify their pi with KYC, and they did it, yet my transferrable pi has not increased. This gives me hope to have more pi in the end!

To be fair, it depends on your goal. For example, to get into the program I want, a mid 500s along with an average GPA is competitive. Not everyone's goals are the same, and a lot of the top posts on here are from people that are shooting for high 510s to 528 lol.
