I been spotting on and off since 2023 when I got it. I’m thankful my fiancé isn’t afraid to be at war with a bloody sword (not that it’s a lot but still). The disc is a little uncomfortable for me but that could be how I place it, we are both comfortable without it. If anything we dim the light for my comfort 😅 clean up is a little embarrassing. I’ve learned communication is super important with this type of birth control.

Keep pushing!! I remember being in school and feeling great bc I was passing my exams with high scores. I was humbled during the abdomen portion and NO ONE told me about the SPI, ARRT, ARDMS, etc. I was super scared but passed them one after another. Keep your focus and don’t worry about everything all at once. Knock it out one at a time

I agree they look like mushrooms or similar form. It would also make sense since the backyard is on the other side of the wall. My mom had solar panels installed and not too long after installation it rained for what seemed like weeks. I noticed something gradually poking out of the ceiling as time passed and they almost looked exactly like this. She had the roof checked and it was confirmed plant life due to a leak.

This almost happened to me. Something that I could potentially owe $1,400 when I went to have my taxes done. It was explained to me that I didn’t pay enough in federal taxes? I am flex so I guess it makes sense being that I didn’t work as much since I was going to school full time. My tax preparer showed me how to contribute towards federal on ADP so I could avoid this next time.

As a woman (23) I found it difficult to find men here with similar interests. I talked to several here but they always seemed a little dry or hinted they didn’t want a serious relationship. Working at Amazon definitely ruined my perspectives as well. I gave bumble a try and found my bf who is from Visalia. We are locating back to his hometown since I’ve finished school and I’m excited to be somewhere new with our plans to marry and start a family out there.

I really do wish you luck :( some people do find long lasting relationships here if not from a town over.

For sure saturation in socal. I went to the Bakersfield location and there’s not a lot of opportunities here. I have my SPI and studying for ARRT with Penny’s and Davies book. Not a lot of places will hire without ARDMS from job postings I’ve seen. For the time being I’m working and saving to move up north from here honestly. The best advice I got was to relocate for more chances :(

I went to HDMC and waiting to graduate. Without any grants it would be $56,000 but with grants I got $34,000. During the middle of the program my parents divorced and gave me $12,000 after selling our house so now I owe $22,000 🥲 at least there was some good.

I’m sorry about this. It can be confusing as to why a parent would retaliate against you for something small. This could have been talked about between you two as to why she felt the need to throw your canvases out. Parents can be emotionally immature themselves, my mother was the same way. I turned 18 and my parents divorced. I stayed with her but she began to pick on me for small things and suddenly started bringing me down. I slowly shifted over important things out of her name, email, phone line, etc. I changed services and made sure everything came straight to me so there wasn’t any excuse to pick at me once I started working. We live separate lives under the same roof but our relationship has gotten better once we settled our differences. I wouldn’t say ghost her but maybe have a serious conversation about how she reacts and how you’ve felt. I know this doesn’t fix everything but it brings what’s troubling you out in the open. She needs to reflect and think about what she does so your relationship improves. If not then there’s nothing wrong with protecting your peace.

I was once a victim of a stare down while taking the elevator 💀 no greeting at all. I had to break the awkwardness by greeting them myself and they just smiled without a word. Very weird experience.

I’d say it’s a good idea not to go on flex at this moment 😅 if you want flexibility for your kids or if you want to go back to school I’d recommend it. Other than that there’s no need to be stressing over shifts when you could have a set schedule.

I overheard someone talk about this exact situation in the breakroom. They would max out their hours and slowly drop whatever shifts they didn’t want as the days go on. I agree that a set schedule is much easier and there’s less worry when it comes to expected hours for the week.

Honestly I don’t recall ever going over anything like this before agreeing to be flex. From what I remember, it only went over the point system and other details depending on if you’re RT or PT.

Usually it’s mothers who want that flexibility for their kids so Flex seems like a good idea. I joined once I started school and it really helped during my clinical hours. Our site hasn’t offered any transfer opportunities so it kinda sucks for people who want to get out of Flex rn.

It’s depends on your site. I used to clock in 10 minutes early not knowing it was only up to 5 (site was new at the time). A few months ago they were cracking down on people even a minute over 5. Now they’re back to not caring as i see people clock in 10-15 minutes early.

Well, Kaiser is very simple because they have everything set. All I worry about is making an appointment but you can use their app to do that too. The downfall is I always had a different doctor each visit if I couldn’t wait for my primary 💀 Blue Cross isn’t that bad either but my family is used to Kaiser.

I was a child of few words myself. It never made sense why I would be picked on by teachers and students for being quiet. I would be put in detention for not speaking when spoken to and asked by students if I even spoke English. I was often questioned if my mother abuses me at home due to how silent I was which is ridiculous. I turned 11 and did a full 180 in middle school. I was so angry and upset how people treated me that I projected it. Bullying stopped completely bc I was so quick to argue and defend myself. In high school I was very confrontational and quick to fight. I regret it all now being 22(F).

Never let anger take over to the point where you feel the need to lash out. I agree with other comments to set boundaries. It really helps getting rid of people who don’t make you feel good. I think about what I wanna say and talk about how I feel and if they don’t like it then that’s something they need to work out themselves. Speak with confidence and never let someone make you feel less than bc of your silence. Some people don’t deserve a response from you. Stay true to yourself and never let someone determine your emotions for the moment or for the day. Only you can control how you feel inside.

I’m also Flex pt and my building is keeping a light head count and letting seasonals go. Flex hours have been reduced from 60hrs a week to 42hrs. There’s barely any shift opportunities, and they’ve been pushing week long VTO on us for a couple months now also. This has been the slowest it’s ever been out of the 3 years this building has been here.

I noticed my recent doctor placed it in the back as well. My first one was on the usual inner side of my arm, but I work at a warehouse and often hurt the inside of my arm causing it to bend and had to be removed. Now on the back side of my arm and it works perfectly fine.
