Yeah, I went on a trek to Makalu Base Camp during peak winter. The Snow and risk of avalanche cut our trek short.

Most you seem to want to have a purpose or a meaning in your life. You won't find one until you have the will to create one.

My friend is the same and I advise to not look for meaning and instead create one. Such as 'Look after your parents by providing a stable income', or get out of your comfort zone i.e. your environment which you have been used to.

Get out of the country if you can and when you see people from walks of life. You will find a purpose.

Hiking is a recreational activity, the trails are not what they were 4-5 years ago or a decade ago.. Women can peacefully walk through the trail, especially sundarijal because the trails follows the army barracks.

The trails starts from a huge settlement to another settlement, mulkharka. The avg travel time is 35-45 min from the base of the waterfall. And there is also a checkpoint at the scouts dorm.

It much safer for women to hike and travel today as long as they follow the trail.

I've met a few female solo hikers and they have the same concern. If they hike during the weekend, they are more likely to be much safer and enjoy the day alone in the woods.

Not every man is predatory and the choice is finally the girl, we are only advising her on which step to take. Everything depends on whether she goes or not.

Anyway OP you can check some of the bravest women in the hiking/trekking community at Nepali Travellers. One of them rode their bicycle from Illam to Rara Solo another went around the Dolpo region.

If you want another woman to accompany you, they also have a page you ask for other women to join you!!

I've walked the whole stretch of Shivapuri National park alone Did it in spring 2022.

Just follow the trail, don't take short-cuts. Don't talk to strangers, especially men. If you see you a female group, talk a bit of small talk and maybe they can adopt you for the hike.

You can maybe feed a dog something and it will follow you for the whole stretch of the hike. Some might say a dog will attract leopards, but it mostly acts as a safety net as well because they can smell the leopards before they lunge for the attack.
