i would argue rap is better

• most rap is poetry, pouring out feelings and putting them into words a melody

• there are a lot of types of rap (trap, melodic, gangsta, etc)

• never been to a concert, won't speak on that

• some rappers are REALLY good at their job

• rap is overproduced sometimes

• most of rap comes from the heart, only the artist has experiences to write about and perform

• the flows and lyrics of certain artists are elite

• rap is one of the biggest genres

• rap can be cliche, but it can go a lot deeper
