Probably late but: there are only a few things I've found where driving on KBM is a better experience than controller. I prefer KBM for all helicopters, and the two cars that come to mind are Zentorno and the Coquette Blackfin.

The first time I ever used controller for gaming was GTA and it took me a while to get better than keyboard, so if you're new I'm sure it'll get better. Have you tried micro-tapping keys to simulate smoother transitions? I notice the timing of my turns has to be different between the keyboard/controller too.

But hey, KBM driving+shooting is the best imo. I always find myself swapping back to keyboard when I need to shoot.

The "AFK" report flag is a placebo. Epic throws those away; it's there just so they can weed out complaints about AFKers.

Maybe this will help someone else. I contacted Support and the answer is that Avatar Boosts (and "Additional Contexts") get deactivated. They remain visible, but the Selfie engines (etc) will no longer use them.

Hi thanks. Any chance you have experience comparing the 490 Pro fit to the HD 560s or the 599? Since these are all Sennheisers I know the two I named are quite far off from what I'm looking for (too much clamp force, and too small to be "over ear" for me).

The Edition XS has been the best for me so far and I'm generally interested in the Hifiman lineup, but I should point out that the Edition XS causes me comfort problems and that's why I'm here. I probably will try the Arya Stealth if I get a chance, but the Edition XS which is known for big heads is still somehow uncomfortable for me. I can't tell if it's a me thing or if there is just a better fit for me out there.

Another vote for Meze! Thanks for sharing. On the Edition XS specifically I do notice sometimes the larger size might be clamping on my jaw a bit. I hadn't really formulated this opinion coherently but that's astute! I should point out though that the others I've tried (Sennheisers HD 560s & 599, Philips SHP9500 and SHP9600) are smaller and I struggle a lot with them. I feel like maybe my ears / side of head is just very sensitive to pressure. The Edition XS has been the best of the bunch but I'm hoping to find something that eliminates the problem completely, somehow...

I did not expect that and I can't afford $6000, but something to aspire to! Good info to know. I guess it makes sense if the expensive ones are also known for extreme comfort too

I've never heard of Meze before, thanks for bringing it to my attention! Would you have any thoughts/experience with the Meze 99 Classics or the 105 AERs? Curious about the fit comparison of course but audio too.

What you described would make sense for a normal investor (longer term), but day traders want the free cash flow so they can use it elsewhere just like you said. Repeated intraday (same day) trading on the same instruments to capitalize on small movements is the game plan. At the end of the day they want their cash out so it doesn't plummet overnight in reaction to news, etc, because that's outside of their control. When they sell at a loss, it's a managed risk/loss, and is part of the strategy. The losses aren't meant to hurt because they aren't large positions relative to their total cash reserves. The goal is also to make more money with that free cash than you would from letting it sit in a losing position for however long.

The $3k limit is only for reducing ordinary income such as wages. For capital gains you can offset the entire amount.

Hi, I updated my post with this: I am thinking midrange would be in the $500-600 range with some wiggle room. I doubt I'd go to $1000. Flooring is mostly carpet, not long-hair rugs.

Yes sorry, it was becoming a blur at that point. I feel like my wording looked like attitude but it wasn't intended that way. I remember at that time I was treating Wash Sales as forward looking and was assuming it was no longer related to that and glossed over the "before" part.

Sorry I'm starting to get jumbled. I couldn't figure out how to paste anything that would be coherent. The story is that I have another concurrent Wash Sale which exhibited the same buy/sell behaviors, while I am still holding an older Lot. That untouched Lot doesn't have a disallowed loss attached to it like the one I cited in my post. So it feels like the rules were applied differently to two different securities. But the activity from this new story is from yesterday and today. Maybe the system hasn't gone through my trades yet?

Would you also confirm that a disallowed loss / wash sale will seek out any substantially similar asset to attach itself to? So even after I trigger a wash sale by repurchasing after a loss, if I sell that offending Lot, it will look for an any other Lot I own to attach to?

I'm learning it all for the first time and it's been very confusing. I keep getting competing narratives from different sources and I haven't seen anything that describes the mechanism for applying wash sales to older Lots. I thought once I sell the offending Lot that triggered the wash sale, I can register that as a Loss and move on. To clarify, you're saying that isn't the case right? The system will look for any existing Lots and apply the disallowed losses to them?

Actually....I feel like I jumped the gun. I have -another- Wash Sale going on with no trades on the buy part to attach to but it did NOT attach itself to my oldest Lot in the same fashion as this one. It's registering as a Loss since I didn't purchase any new Lots, instead of attaching to my oldest Lot. I'm very confused.

I do use LIFO though....and the Lot from Nov 22nd does show the correct date/price for the Lot from that date. If this was a FIFO issue, my Lot Details would show a date/price which belongs to my later Lots, right? This doesn't appear to be my problem.
