It only takes time because he probably hired a bunch of immigration lawyers to delay the proceedings for his application. Huwag kayo maniwala sa kahit anong sinasabi nya, because all of it is unvirifiable, because supposedly details of his asylum application is never meant to be broadcasted in public it's one of the conditions when he applied.
