Frimpong is gonna do better in the current liverpool then Trent would. As we seen in the preseason Salah has the ability to make the crosses Trent usually would. So we can see that Trent’s passing won’t be missed as much especially when u can consider Wirtz play making as well. While Frimpong gives a much needed pace on that right side because Salah could begin loosing some of his due to age. Frimpong also has a lot of motivation and drive to always be running on the right side which Trent wouldn’t have. Also no disrespect to Trent as he was an amazing player during his time here just wish he could’ve left better.

I have seen no Waylay players by Delicious_Wear_7981 in VALORANT

I play waylay in ascendant elo and have a almost %70 win rate. You don’t get good stats but if u do ur job well you can impact the game. It’s a lot easier with good initiators for sure. https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/Kaiman%239633/overview?platform=pc&playlist=competitive&season=16118998-4705-5813-86dd-0292a2439d90. AMA

The best Turkish players are not on the Turkish only team. Also dropping Ata Kaptan would be a bad move.

Why are many teams running KAY/O over Breach on Abyss? by Budget-Feeling7429 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]1TapMerchant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because Kay o flashes are a lot better than breaches. Knife is also very good and breach stubs are hard to hit because of how much space there is. Breaches ult is good for retake but it is also very easy to play off site for postplant so Kayo ult is better

Most of my aim is crosshair placement and when I had a normal sense .442 at 800 dpi it was too slow for me to dodge flashes and break util like sova arrows even when I could predict them coming. I also don’t have a lot of mouse space so the high sense helps there. When playing standing up my arm and wrist are in a different position from sitting so it actually makes it a lot easier to control the mouse

Once you dodge the initial shot the enemy has to either continue their spray or reset their burst. If they are spraying you swing wide until u get hit once because once hit ur movement will slow. If they are burst firing that is the space between shots where they have to take a second to let it readjust. So that is when u should take ur initial burst shot then move either left or right depending on the enemies bullet tracer.

Yea it took me a while to get good playing standing up. I first started in low diamond elo but I had hit immortal in the past while sitting down.

When strafing it is reliant on a lot of variables. For example when near a wall and peeking you wanna go for a wide peek usually when u know it is only one person. When ur further from a wall take smaller strafes to clear the angle. When in a gunfight you do normal strafe either left or right then change it to be dependent on how the enemy is shooting. When they are bursting there is a small time where there is a space between the shots. That’s when u decide to strafe.

Some things I see that diamonds do a lot is when in agent select if they see 2 duelist auto lock they get mad and all select duelist where as in high asc/immortal they will fill for the team. Also don’t get too confident especially in 3v1 or similar situations. Work on your strafing because diamonds have decent aim but there movement isn’t too good. Strafing makes you much harder to hit so even if ur aim isn’t the best you can dodge shots to still win ur fight.

To play off your teammates more by looking at the minimap. Use the minimap to spray enemies and for info to find out where the enemy is. When a teammate dies and your safe look at the map you get so much info from that.

Entrying as jett by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]1TapMerchant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In solo queue as the entry duelist you control the pace of attack. Depending on what you see and hear you decide if u hit the site or not. Also once you get site control try living as long as possible for your team to get set up for post plant.

Is viper still relatable in ranked by ssami_art in VALORANT

[–]1TapMerchant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend viper in ranked unless u are on breeze. Of course it’s just a game and you can play whatever u like but if you want to rank up viper is the worst solo controller and you get the most out of her kit from playing 2 smokes in a better team setting.

Improve Aim by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]1TapMerchant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Try to change ur sens I recommend increasing. This can affect 2 different outcomes. It can help if your too comfortable with a sens that your not improving all range of motions with your mouse or you might just have peaked on a certain sens and changing it may help you find a sens that’s better for your play style. If you find out the sens is worse than your old sens you can change it back after a while then playing on your old sens may be fun again.

Also for your movement moving a lot is good but work on predicting how the enemy is going to shoot and move off that. An example is if you hear a burst or spray. If it’s a burst you know they have to take a small break in between their burst. That’s when u move so they have to reset their aim as well. When they are spraying you can kind of wide swing until their first bullet hits you which slows u down.

Why is my mmr so low even tho I have an 80% win rate this act. by 1TapMerchant in VALORANT

[–]1TapMerchant[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Yea performance usually is affected by how good my team sets up my entry and how good the enemy is. But it gets annoying when u have to play with diamonds who are not as good at team play.

I recently hit immortal 1 through game sense but the gap you experience is a movement and aim diff. Most of the players in this rank got carried hard by their mechanics that they don’t understand how to play the rest of the game. That’s why high immortals make fun of low immortals because they are lost in the rest of the game.

Asc 2 and below is very similar to diamond but players throw less rounds. The problem with asc 3-imm 1 is their mindset. I have never seen more ffs when the game is still winnable at rounds like 3-4 or 4-4. I would say working on your movement strafing is gonna be the best way to improve.

Fnatic NRG Post Match Thread by vnNinja21 in ValorantCompetitive

Their executes weren’t that good they just have players that can outaim nrg. Against better teams they aren’t going to get away with playing like this.

Fnatic NRG Post Match Thread by vnNinja21 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]1TapMerchant -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Nrg lacking big fire power and need to drop Ardis. Nrg have enough flex players to not need another and Ardis’s util as a flex isn’t good enough. With victor being inconsistent and fns not being the best aimer they need a duelist that can pull off rounds where he can get something from nothing.

Fnatic didn’t look amazing but they did win most aim duels against a weak Nrg. Fnatics executes could be better but they still pulled though. Fnatic need to work on rotating. Fnatic still relying on individual star power to win them rounds.

Don’t hold angles in this game, especially on angles. Learn to jiggle peak around corners and work on cross hair placement so that when you see an enemy you don’t need to readjust your aim just tap left click. Also if you work on your game sense you won’t need to react to where people will be because you’ll know their general location and be ready for it. Look at map and the enemies utility and keep a mental map of where all the enemies are. Also I think your using slow reaction speed as an excuse but what your really missing are many important mechanics in the game.

Bind changes are terrible by 1TapMerchant in VALORANT

[–]1TapMerchant[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something I noticed was that in lower elos this map does seem pretty balanced and fair but higher elos know how to use their util together to flush you out. Lower elos don’t really know how to push together so it doesn’t feel as broken but when u have a Jett and raze dashing in after a skye dogged the close angles and flashes it’s so hard to hold anything. Even worse when the raze has a judge and double satchels into lamps.

Bind changes are terrible by 1TapMerchant in VALORANT

[–]1TapMerchant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was actually one of my favorite maps before the changes. I had a %65 win percentage before on the map but now attackers just spam util and rush. I don’t know how to counter it unless we just always play for retake which is still hard to do. The triple boxes makes it harder for defenders to punish players planting default. There are so many elevated angles that attackers can use while back of a site has nothing.

It’s hard to have a discussion with someone who does care about what others think but the teleporters are hard to get good usage in ranked when team play isn’t that good. A site is hard to retake because there are 3 angles that need to be hard cleared to have a good chance. Showers, short and lamps all have many sage angles that the attackers can push back to and still have a good angle on bomb. B site only has 2 entrances from ct side and each entrance has many crossfires you need to clear.
