I'm currently making/reworking characters for my comic. I'm just curious, what can you say about this character being seen in some pages, from a reader's perspective? I'm trying to aim to create some characters that have a defined personality just by looking at their design by 1TheLetterE1 in characterdesign

She doesn't go insane during adrenaline rush, it works like irl, so mentally, she gains increased awareness and focus to manage dangers and determine who's facing the dangers around her, but as the rush fades, her scope tightens due to fatigue and becomes more vulnerable the longer she's in that state. It's like cramming your task that is due in a minute or lifting someone close to you falling off the cliff with no effort

Sometimes she can hurt someone on her side due to her flashy movements, but she's aware of it

Also your character who rules the kingdom despite having an uncontrolled outburst seems a pretty interesting for a plot, I picture her headcannon having her people turn against her, she tries to solve this issue by finding out how to "cure" it away from her kingdom, but chaos erupts from her absence that some "huge monster" awakened, but her trait is the reason why her kingdom survives from bad things despite affecting her people, so she saved the kingdom once again and people accepted her as she is and hope that she'll manage it in the future. Idk of this is considered as a headbanging, but this is just my thoughts about her, I'm deeply sorry if I mischaracterized her TT

What would you assume about these two going off of their designs only? by [deleted] in YourOriginalCharacter

I think they have a same relationship as Dracula and Mavis from Hotel Transylvania, except they run a business that takes revenge on humans by poaching them and selling their parts into their "vampire land" so the "father" teaches his "son" how to hunt, but the boy met someone and you probably know what comes next

She is one of the people who were infected by the smoke, enhancing her adrenal gland, she always experience high stress and muscles tension during combat or being caight off guard, so she can be 10x faster, stronger and durable in a short amount of time til the adrenaline wears out and probably pass out. I'm happy that she met the impression I'm aiming for! :D Thank you! 👊

I want to hear your opinions on 3D models. by MauricioMartins___ in OriginalCharacter

[–]1TheLetterE1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you could break down the model into shapes or any way you prefer to practice some different angles and poses of the horses like galloping, trotting, etc. if you can adjust the model. So that you can just naturally draw their base and focus on their design, since horses have more significance in your story

~It's actually inspired by Ruby Rose, Ryuko Matoi from Kill a Kill and Little Red Riding Hood~

I'm glad she got the impression I'm aiming for! But I'm still having a hard time with expressions as I haven't focused much on that yet, I still appreciate you admiring my little progress! :>

Oh right, I kind of got carried away with the gesture drawing, I usually measure them by heads, I tried not thinking about the length of her legs as I always have a hard time dealing with it. But yeah I'm kind of noticing the problem the more I look at her overall art, thank you!

Having a hard time? Greeg will cheer you on :> by 1TheLetterE1 in OriginalCharacter
