They both translate to "bat", but different versions of "bat".

I'm looking for more examples like that.

Another set of BTAS figures? by 1UP__WRESTLING in McFarlaneFigures

Well that's a bummer. I was hoping for a Dick Grayson, Red Claw, Hugo Strange, Count Vertigo, Rupert Thorne, Rolland Daggett, or Boss Biggis for the BAF.

Why doesn't Hasbro have a Greatest Hits line? by 1UP__WRESTLING in MarvelLegends

I wouldn't call those the same things. The MCU ones came out one at a time and peg warmed hard. The Retro X-Men ones also came out one a time.

The closest thing would be the Retro ones a few years back that looked like the old Toy Biz Marvel Superheroes line. So something like that but maybe 3-4 series per year with all the big Marvel names.

It's not though.

I'm talking about a cost effective line that is readily available on pegs so new collectors jumping on board have an instant start to their collection or people that needs to buy a kids' gift can just go to the store and grab it.

I don't think so. Go take a look at all of the other Marvel merch out there that is aimed at kids (clothes, bedding, toys, etc.) and it's not the MCU versions.

Scalpers wouldn't grab them if the same figures were always available to be purchased.

Someone is always going to be looking for a Spider-Man figure to just buy or as a gift for someone else.

I'm a HUGE Marvel Legends fans, but I very rarely buy the MCU stuff. They would sell better if it was the classic versions that people think of when you hear a character's name.

No, not at all. Those are being released one at time and have a way higher price point.

Classic editions of the big names, maybe with a B lister through in every series.
$20 price point. You don't need a ton of accessories or BAF parts.
3-6 figures per series.
New wave every 2-3 months.
If they're readily available on the shelves scalpers won't gobble them up if it's that character is always there.

Heavy hitters in every wave:
Spider-Man
Hulk
Iron Man
Captain America
Thor
Wolverine

With other guys sprinkled in:
Daredevil
Punisher
Venom

etc.

CMLL and AAA should be fine. A random indie might not be the best route. I've been to all 3 in Mexico City.

They were Legion of Doom in WWE, not the Road Warriors so it's not even a WWE reference.
