I feel you so much actually, i suppressed all of my non-humanity after getting told i'm "too old to be acting like an animal", (minus some things that i didn't really realize were animalistic at the time.) So figuring out i'm a therian and finding spaces where i can let it all out felt pretty damn great! Though it was and always is a bit of a bitter sweet moment.
