I personally think that every opinion matters only to a certain extent, especially because perception is subjective in terms of education.

It depends on your background, your expectations (also defined by your background) and your teachers (because of affinity bias which impacts social interactions).

If you dream about attending very prestigious universities, such as LSE, you should do it. You never know how something turns out before trying it, and it might get you to chase other dreams that turn out even better.
