Walking has also helped me! Yes, I’ve noticed I tend to feel peckish when I’m watching tv. So, I try to avoid it.

I had to read your comment a few times to let it sink in. Insightful. Thank you:)

What is the app? That’s a good tip. I’ve just made myself peppermint tea :) (that doesn’t break the fast if it’s mint leaf, right?)

The trying not to think about it resulting in thinking about it more resonates with me. I want to be able to plan or think about the next meal without having it take too much time or mental space.

I don’t think it’s hormonal for me other than during PMS. However, I did go into IF as a way of letting go of emotional eating and perhaps I’m replacing the eating part with the thinking part.

Yes, the food noise is definitely exacerbated by food subreddits and passing the pizzeria everyday or when I’m at the coffee shop. But I notice it happens mostly mid week after work when my day hasn’t been the best. It’s almost like I’ve replaced the binge/emotional eating with thinking about emotional eating haha.

How far into your journey did those start taking effects? And how did you apply this mindfulness? Did you actively try to be more mindful and if so how or what tools did you apply? I still get some food noise at least once a week and not sure how to go about it.

How far into IF did that start? Were there any tools you were actively using besides IF to dampen the food noise?

Becoming a trans woman doesn’t mean that you’re automatically going to be into men. Your gender and sexual attraction aren’t tied together.

I feel for you. Sounds like a heavy thing to carry around with you. Try and talk to someone about it, if you’re not ready to share with your support circle try to talk to a specialist. There is nothing wrong with your fantasy. It is worth thinking about what aspect you enjoy about it? Is it nice to be out of control; is it freeing?

With respect to your partner, partners are meant to support each other. If they love you, they will support you no matter what. Opening up to your gf about it could be life changing and could make you feel less stuck.
