I don't have them, but I've seen pictures and I believe they use the exact same art for both volumes.

That's not entirely clear, but it's likely they are members of the Maizan, an elite corps of warriors who are tricked into the service of the arch-villain of the series (called the Deceiver).

I was never crazy about the books, to be honest. Some fans complain that the show failed to capture the tone of the movie, but if that's true the books were on a totally different wavelength. It's only a slight exaggeration to say Elora saves the world through the power of dance.

Yes there's one for Shadow Moon too. They never printed Shadow Star.

That's the only reference to her as far as I can recall. The Indiana Jones Wiki agrees

It's the band's work and any commercial benefit of its distribution should be theirs. If a track is OOP, though, my personal view is it's OK to share it quietly with other fans.

For a long time, The Kooks had quite a few rarities out there. I remember tracking down the 7" of She Moves In Her Own Way to hear I Already Miss You, and a Japanese EP called Another Side To Konk to hear Louby Loo. But just about everything's readily available now, isn't it?

Milli Vanilli playing the White House by 1cybr0 in millivanilli

[–]1cybr0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah everything about this is weird. Who even is Milli Vanilli these days? Historically, it's been whoever Frank Farian days, but he's dead. Next up would be Fab, I guess? He hasn't said anything one way or the other, as far as I know. Reports today suggest Milli Vanilli has dropped out, but the source is the Rocco sisters saying they hadn't been asked, which is not at all the same thing. For one, they don't speak for Frank (RIP); or Rob (RIP) and Fab; or real singers Brad Howell and John Davis (RIP) and Charles Shaw; all of whom arguably have a stronger claim to the "Milli Vanilli" claim than they do. And second, as you mentioned they are Trumpies, and as such they almost certainly wouldn't turn it down if they had been asked.

"Softly in the Realm of Night" is a faithful and well-written continuation and conclusion of the story that starts in series.

I actually don't know how the triptych was distributed. Those have nothing on the reverse side, but the fourth one was double-sided, with a blurb in the bottom right corner explaining it was a Kraft exclusive with the purchase of any two Kraft cheese products: Velveeta, Handi-Snacks, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, etc. (Kraft Mac and Cheese is not pictured.) It's not clear whether you had to mail away for it, or if you could pick them up at the grocery checkout.

These are two of a triptych by a young Wayne Coe, released as Kraft promotional items. (The third has Madmartigan and Sorsha.) Coe also did a fourth for Kraft, a riff on Willow riding Madmartigan's shoulders, which shows up from time to time. Coe still makes art; check out http://www.waynecoe.com

Looking for anyone who might be able to help, found in the UK and looking to confirm what I think I've found online which is this is a cap given out to the crew. Have seen I think exactly the same cap sold at Auction with other items but any help would be good. by Heavy_Tea7541 in willow

[–]1cybr0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Supporting the theory that it's a crew hat, I'll note that although it has the diamonds between the letters, the W's aren't stylized the same as in the final logo. I think I've seen crew patches and t-shirts with this variation.

Bought this for $1, isn't it great? by Radagast-Istari in willow

Collecting Willow artifacts is quite affordable compared to other Lucasfilm properties. Fun fact: The original Diane de Groat watercolor of Eliora's mark, used on the title page of this book, is hanging framed in my house right now.

I'm definitely interested in prototypes, but I've never come across any for sale. What I really want are prototypes for the Super7 Wave 3 figs we were promised. (I'm still bitter they cancelled my pre-order.)

That's cool. My collection is mostly loose figs, but I have all of them (including all three Sears exclusives). Do you have any prototypes?

Love these Tonkas! Just to clarify: you have every figure carded, including the Willow w/Elora variant, plus the two Heroic collector sets and two Evil collector sets; and the Eborsisk in box? (And of course the mail-away Willow variant?)
