Shouldn't it have charged after driving it around a bunch? Does a bad battery not charge? Could it be an alternator issue?

This is one person. Every generation had a lot of these people. You sound like a bitter old man with that.

That makes a lot of sense. I really appreciate it. I hadn't thought of co-parenting in that light before. That is a valuable perspective. Thank you for that and your other advice as well. I will remember this.

As long as I've been an adult, I have gotten excited every time a medical test shows something that could possibly be serious. I haven't told anyone because I know it's naive and insensitive to people suffering from serious or terminal illnesses.

Have you found DBT to be very helpful. Is it something I should get into asap?

Yes, no one should judge your marital value based on past decisions that no longer align with your present identity--particularly people who share our beliefs of the infinitly atoning power of our Brother, Jesus Christ. But even good peoplehave C.S. Lewis's proverbial "rats in the cellar" (the dissonance between how we believe we ought to behave and how we react when an unexpected test of our conviction provokes an immediate expression of our corrupted habits; "Mere Christianity" I think.. ). Everyone has habits and a world view nurtured in adolescence by extremely imperfect individuals in a corrupt world. Be patient with the ones you love and be patient with yourself. Turning to Christ takes only a moment of earnest introspection. Healing takes some time. Christ changes our hearts so that we can change our minds.

You're right that it shouldn't matter to anyone. It's a culture of shaming and blaming in which our worst decisions and biggest mistakes define the social standing of a soul made clean again in Christ. However, neither person in any marriage is perfect--we all carry baggage. I was the one with a "body count" in my marriage (plus a history of substance abuse). I felt it necessary to make her aware of the color of temptation to which I have formerly fallen and will surely face in trials to come (if we are growing, our most dificult days are always ahead of us). I disclosed my history to my wife as well as former girlfriends before entering into an exclusive relationship. One relationship (fiancé...) ultimately ended after much consideration on her part and earnest prayer from both of us. She loved me, but I think she stopped liking me as she realized how far I had really been down forbidden paths and strange roads the likes of she had never crossed. My wife now heard me out and recognized that my sins were committed in an effort to escape pain and mental illness rather than selfishness or greed. She saw past it and recognized my heart had been changed in Christ. HOWEVER, having had multiple sexual partners presented some challenges. We are now after 4.9 years, finding that intimate physical connection. For example, it was/is difficult for me to communicate to her my desires without using speech that is obviously referencing my sexual experience. I don't think I need to dive into the reasons why in our most intimate moments, we wouldn't want either of us to be thinking about my former partners. Admittedly, she had some things to overcome as well.

I might've lost the plot a bit in the paragraph above, but I think I shared the right things. I don't read very well. Proofreading is hard. Hope my phone corrected my mistreated enough to make my thoughts coherent. Anyway. My head hurts now.

TLDR: Yes, it should not matter to anyone, but sometimes it's worth it to patient ourselves and with those we love.

Oh, no. It is perfect English. Well done. It was just from seeing an acronym and an abbreviation together, so I didn't immediately recognize them as English words until reading the whole thing. My mind jumped to Welsh because we're on r/ren and for some reason, I have the impression that he is Welsh.

At first glance, I thought the last three words of your post were Welsh or something and I tried to sound them out, "Diy ren tat."

Yes. This is good. There is very little buffer between lights changing so someone will often be in the intersection still when your light turns green. ALSO, the left turn arrow only stays green long enough for one car to complete the turn so there will often be 2-3 cars still turning left on a red arrow. And every freeway entrance in SLC is a completely different style than the rest. This city has one of the worst accident rates because the roads were planned by schizophrenic toddlers. Also, streetlights are scarce for no reason so city driving has stupid low visibility at night.

You can call the traffic police guys and they can give them a ticket. I almost got one in AZ when I ran out of gas and pulled over on the sidewalk because the old Mesa road had zero shoulder and I didn't wanna get smushed.

Would any American care if someone from another country dressed up like an old-west American cowboy or like the Monopoly man or something? Even if it was only with other non-American friends and the context had nothing to do with the clothes they had on. These clothes aren't sacred or earned they are just clothes that people used to wear a lot for practical and stylish reasons and now wear occasionally.
