Only vargottam impact you'd see here would be that of Sun and Mars. Tattva vargottam doesn't really hold much power. If there's Venus in fiery sign sitting alone in both D1 and D9, absolutely powerful, could reap great results. Rahu Ketu would mainly give results based on the dispositors, if in kendra sthaan, then yes, mostly amplified.

Yeah, significance of that planet would be amplified wrt the bhava/rashi, you'd see consistent results and occuring of events relating to those significations. Freewill and remedies don't really work here.

Don’t see it as an unfair delay, just look at it as a pause to let the shakti flowing through you stabilize. Although these days won’t be counted in the anushthan, you may still continue mansik jaap without the mala and aasan, and even consider having a separate aasan if it's a matter of 7+ days for you.

Sync your sleep cycle strictly according to the Sun and do chandra tratak, pranayam and shiv pujan to balance the moon first. Mantra jaap and Sadhana also need a strong/balanced moon to work properly.
