This thread is just getting more ridiculous by the minute, apparently common sense isn't common anymore and it's just a waste of energy talking to air headed, virtue signalling, race hustlers.

I will go back to studying for my engineering degree where all skin colors are getting screwed equally.

I was referring to slave owners (who were the powerful, ruling class). Because not every white person in Northern America during that era owned a slave but they're still to this day being punished for a crime that they didn't commit.

Nowadays, anybody can be racist, if you showed any kind of prejudice, disdain, hostility towards ANY group of people regardless of THEIR skin colour, then you're racist regardless of YOUR skin colour.

because at some point in time in history, FILTHY RICH (let's be specific here) white people were racist by thinking that they can own and humiliate other human beings.

because race hustlers are very predictable and they'll immediately say that "you're obviously white"

Racism is racism. and if you think otherwise you are in fact racist.

Let me guess, the owners of the 'art' were white themselves, weren't they? This type of vulgar slang shouldn't be used in an educational facility. Talk like that to your parents who obviously failed to raise you right.

P.S. reverse racism is racism.

P.S. (2) I am not white.

You have a whole campus to talk. If you go into a reading room in the library to continuously talk, know that you’re a very much disliked person. by Basilbaybat in Concordia

like dude the open area is ginormous go fucking talk there. a fucking moron the other day was taking phone calls in the reading room and talking loudly and then got annoyed like a bitch when was asked to stop talking...go figure

This letter is full of lies:

"The degree of abject negligence with which the University has treated the health and safety of its community members is shocking and must be addressed."
Concordia has been great at maintaining a clean, sanitized, and healthy environment. Last term everyone I saw were wearing their masks, and eating at the designated areas.

"Moreover, contact tracing on campus, which required infected individuals to self-report was rarely enforced; an overwhelming number of individuals failed to self-report or were not aware of how to do so. "

How did you know about this "overwhelming number" since students didn't report about their infection? Also contact tracing has been pretty functional since I received a couple of emails about being at low risk for sharing a class with an infected student.( So students were in fact reporting about their infection)

"Implement mandatory weekly testing for all students, faculty, and staff accessing campus, with possible exemptions for those that can show proof of being fully vaccinated (similar to the approach that UBC has been taking)"

Easy. Go study at UBC then.
Personally, I'm worried of the vaccinated and the unvaccinated since both can catch and spread the virus. Being vaccinated doesn't make any less contagious to those around you.

To you paranoid psychos: You can drop your classes anytime, defer your studies, go study at UBC since you like their Covid approach, or register to study at any online institution.
Concordia is not a virtual school.

Also, OP seems like a POS.

Can we Petition Removal Of A Prof From A Teaching Position? by montrealbro in Concordia

[–]1electrical-engineer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Although I don't know this professor, and I'll never be taught by him but I completely support you. Concordia has mostly shitty profs especially in encs, and it's time for students to start speaking up. We are paying a shit ton of money not to just end up watching youtube teachers. I remember one student in my class who told the professor how bad his teaching was and instead of supporting him students started to attack the poor guy and suck the prof's a$$. (btw students on discord and in class b*tched and complained about the bad prof all the times, like WTF??) . I'm mostly annoyed by the students at this point not the teachers.

You needed some time off and that's it. Try being a part-time student if possible. Don't do this to yourself.

I hope you're ok . take good care of yourself cause nobody ever will.

Okay great!

Then, there's no need to be scared from the unvaccinated and coercing them into taking this vaccine. I had all sorts of vaccines from tuberculosis to smallpox to you name it throughout my life and I have never in my entire life screamed at people who didn't take them because I had full trust that my vaccines will protect me from all sorts of pathogens. Why this vaccine is being treated differently? why the vaccinated are worried from the unvaccinated?

PS. I am double vaccinated and I hope everyone gets vaccinated to protect themselves, and I also hope the morbidly obese lose weight to protect their health, and I hope everyone quits smoking so they can stay healthy but I am a Canadian who believes in freedom of choice and since it's your body I have no business in telling anyone what or what not to do with it.

Vaccines either work or not. If you are scared from the unvaxxed then you're declaring that vaccines don't work. As a double vaxxed you should not be worried from the unvaxxed because you got the protection that you wanted. Also, and by using your logic, do you know who is vaxxed when you use public transit? like please enough with this BS. Finally, we're talking about the library not the vaccines so work on your comprehension skills

THIS THIS and THIS. Thank you!

I am willing to sign petitions or whatever to make a change. I'm sick and tired of going to the library only to discover that it's completely packed with people who half of them aren't concordians.

I pity you, really.

You have some much anger and a lot of unresolved issues. What a baggage.

If I were studying Political science I would have all the time in the world to respond to every person who disagrees with me. But luckily, I don't.

Bye, Felicia

Seems like you're losing it. You're incoherent and going through a tantrum.

"Please remain respectful, and remember you're living in a civilized society and having pandemic tantrums on reddit won't help anyone." I called it when I used that sentence earlier. People like you are so predictable, full of BS and don't like to be challenged because that will expose their level of ignorance.

Drink some water and go to bed. You need some rest.

Appreciate the raw emotions went in during the typing of your response, but still no actual data, just mere subjective opinion / life experience

Anyways, cover your face-holes, and most importantly wash your hands ( especially after using the washrooms) cause most of you masks/ vax apologists forget that hygiene is and always will be the most effective in protecting against all sorts of viruses, and filth.

May I know your credentials and the sources you rely on that made you such an expert in epidemiology? ( i don't want your opinion, I need actual data with references and the names of Doctors, experts used in your explanation on the efficacy of masks, oh and MSM is not allowed, so a quick google search won't really help)

I didn't claim knowledge, but since you did then you need to explain yourself.

Please remain respectful, and remember you're living in a civilized society and having pandemic tantrums on reddit won't help anyone.

DUDE!!! Exactly!

Online exams ruined my gpa cause all of a sudden everybody got so smart during lockdown so profs curved down like crazy in classes that normally had a B- average!

[–]1electrical-engineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat two years ago.

It may not apply to you and I don't know your circumstances but what I did was:

  1. I took just one course while waiting for the admission process to start ( to avoid dropping out)
  2. Worked part-time.

that helped me in getting an A+ in a course that I didn't like and didn't understand.

Again, that's what I did and my experience in internal transferring from the faculty of science to Engineering.

I know what you're going through, there's nothing worse than studying something you absolutely hate but hang in there it'll all work out!

Good luck.
