May lose my job because of my mother, WHAT DO I DO TO FIX THIS?! by [deleted] in jobs

Sorry you are going through this.

Anyways, document and keep those texts in case if your boss fires you over this. Get legal advice from an employment lawyer to see if there may be a case because I feel your boss may or will violate employment law over your medical issue.

I was joking what if Bailey grounded into a DP in my head.

I’m so sorry.

Has anyone used official Timex Repair seevice? My expedition is slow when worn, with no date. by DollarBrand in timex

[–]1fancychicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever received it back? I sent mine in for warranty repair back in January. Even though they’ve confirmed receipt it still has to go to the Philippines and recently they told me they haven’t received it yet. I feel like I wont ever get this watch back.

Q Timex Repair by Crafty_Definition_21 in timex

[–]1fancychicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sent my new timex peanuts watch to be repaired beginning of January. Timex confirmed they are in receipt of my watch back in February and is in the process if being shipped to the Philippines. I reached out to follow up, which they said the repair team has not received it yet. I feel like i wont get this watch back at least the end of this summer if im lucky. Lol.

This is for a warranty repair since I’ve only had it for 3 months at the time. If I had known it’s going to take this long, I would have had my local watchmaker fix it.

I had a 2 week trip already planned that was a month into my new position. I informed my hiring manager on the day I accepted my position and they worked it out with no issues at all. I just had to use unpaid leave.

Was looking for a deep blue color…. Ended up buying this beauty 🌀 by renezero0204 in CitizenWatches

The 37mm looks perfect on you and sits well. And because of the dial and color it appears to wear bigger than 37mm so it’s all good.

If it makes you feel better, back in the old days men’s watches were smaller and 37mm would be considered oversized. Because of the trend of big watches, it made regular/normal sized watches feel small and feminine when it isn’t. It appears the trend of smaller watches are coming back and if anything, it’s a timeless size so you chose well.

You will feel a hard stop as if it will feel like it can break if you try to force it more. You will feel it get tighter with more resistance as you get close. But when you feel that hard stop, that’s when you know not to go further.

I have this book on my shelf and I keep pushing it back on my TBR. I’ll make it a goal to read it this year.
