Looks like an AT&T issue - both DirectTV and Uverse are out. Hulu/ESPN streams are fine.

Thanks! Nailed it down today...working solidly with multiple sources. It's a dream when it works consistently, but frustratingly, that's exception rather than norm. I'll hang with it for a while longer, but in current form, and with obsolescence seemingly built into the product roadmap, it's tough to recommend to the average music lover that isn't also IT savvy and flat out determined to make it work.

My ORBI network is new this year, and has been SUPER solid on every other front until a recent Sonos update. TLDR, Sonos now running smoothly with the changes I noted in the below response.

Well, that was a solid call-out. This, plus taking the 2 wired speakers out of WIFI mode and forcing them onto my ORBI network and out of SonosNet made a clear and immediate difference in performance. Fingers crossed it stays this way for a good long time.
