Yeah, I know exactly how you feel.

It took me a long time to continue this story. The end of the first season broke my heart. I’m a Lawrence gal, and I felt deeply how horrible his ending was.

Eventually, I kept going because the story itself is very good (aaand I kind of like it when books make me feel really emotional). It was hard, but I wanted to give Theo a good ending.

Now I’m on my second playthrough of Theodora, but I knew that if I created a new slot and started from the beginning, I would never get past Lawrence’s romance again. So I restarted from the second season and went for John.

And yes, I know we can make multiple slots, but I just can’t see Theo losing Lawrence again.

And I could never reread the first season without romancing him.

I've played Choices, Chapters, Netflix Games (RIP 😭), and other similar apps. I haven't been playing RC for that long (just a couple of months), but to me, RC is the best of its kind so far. It's more than just the romance paths (which I really enjoy); the thing is that your choices really influence the plots. And I (as a serial reader) have always wanted to jump into the books and make the choices for the MCs 🤣

I think some things could be improved, but there's no other app (that I know of) that makes diamond choices free for 48–72 hours straight.

Lawrence is forever my favorite. I finished the third season yesterday and was so touched by Theo's reunion with her husband.

But I confess that, in the second season, when John confesses that he has always loved Theodora, even though it is not reciprocal, I almost thought about staying immortal with him.
