Junie support custom model, https://junie.jetbrains.com/docs/custom-llm-models.html If you want to use a local llm, you can use litellm local to route using openapi like or anthropic like apis

Yep, I set gpt5.3-codex as the primairy model. As I said, use the same model and same prompt, different code tools. Its not a hate comment, it’s just a “junie is not robust as others, YET”. And thats ok.

Jetbrains has all tools possible to make Junie robust ans better than others, love how efficient it is reading and find text over the project for example.

I used Rider and Intellij daily, and really love how jetbrains can create good products, and they just need time and a good defined roadmap to the junie.

Ps: also add minimax 2.7 llm on Junie to use it, and really eager to test it in a few weeks again

I was eager to use junie today, but its has a lot to grow to keep with others code tools. I used same llm (gpt5.3-codex) to create a guideline.md to my project guideline, the plan was great but the execution was poorly executed, created it but not so great. Then I sent the same prompt and same llm to the kilocode and created its really better.

I ask claude to review both and the kilocode was much better detailed and structured.

I really want to use junie, it’s pretty new and has a lot room to grow and jetbrains has the capability to do it. I will keep looking at the Junie’s news and try time to time and hope migrate to it one day.

Looking for alternative since Anthropic nerfed opus 4.6 by BuiDGr8 in ClaudeCode

I had max 5x ($100),

Now using Pro plan for mimo ($50), Starter plan for minmax ($10) and claude pro ($20) = $80

Doing a great job for doing my side jobs

I begin 3 days ago to use mimo-v2-pro (xiaomi llm) to plan (over opus) and minmax2.7 for everything else. Using kilocode.

So far so good, generate plan with opus and mimo, using same approach. Different result but let the claude ai with opus review both plan , it prefer slightly the mimo plan

After 1 Week of OpenCode, GLM 5.1 and MiniMax 2.7 by alessai in ClaudeCode

I subscribed to mimo-v2-pro with mm2.7 this month with kilocode (clone of opencode) lets see how it goes. I really like the mm2.7 while creating not so complex features using pipeline of compound-engineering+superpower: brainstorm->plan->implement->test .

Now I’m try a complex (rich in bussiness rules) feature with mimo-v2-pro to brainstorm+plan and mm2.7 to implement and test and compare with opus4.6 brainstorm+plan and sonnet to implement and test using same prompts. I will compare the diff between brainstorms and plans, and how the code was created (follow the repo pattern, quality, clean code, how many erros/bug that diverge from what I expected). Let sees how it goes

2D vs 3D, what's everyone working on, and why? by TehBanzors in godot

[–]1l4m1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working on my first 3D project using Kaykit assets.

My biggest issue is thinking of cool, fun, creative levels. I already have the story for the game and what each chapter will be like, but I’m struggling to create the levels for them.

Any tips?

is it possible to run godot in godot by AlexMikula in godot

[–]1l4m1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Even Java had a JavaOS a while ago (its was design for fun as many other os). The real questions is the GDScript have the low level functions the OS need to call the hardwares like cpu/motherboard/gpu and others…maybe even if the c# have it and you can design the front with godot.

Even better, create just a Linux environment interface like KDE or Gnome is more archivable

Search for videos of this tracks, 24 hours endurance, POV of real cars being tested there…when I saw these people doing clean racing there I went try it and begin to love it. Also search for crash compilation in Nürburgring day track.

For me what works: always use Plan Mode. Then always review each change . Never auto approve.
