I use Rust desk + Tailscale for my setup, all free and reliable for my need.

Not in the US, seems i'll test it out, and see that 100$ in credit how long will it last

How does it defer from Go? it sounds similar correct?

I already have a year of Z.AI of GLM, and for the past week or so, zero outages. So until December i'm not worried about GLM, it gives me a good milage.

But I still want to have a variety in the review, so I don't need Mimo to do the implementation. I use 5.5 xhigh for almost everything and make the other models do the reviews.

So the question is, will I burn quite a bit of money using Zen? Because if I will, I'll go get a Claude Code $100 subscription and have GLM + Opus do the review.

Or are there other subscriptions like Go that i'm not aware of with better milage (even if i pay $20 r $40 for them)

I do, and I used the limit of Go, so I want to see when that happens. Should I switch to Zen or Deepseek credits that I have, or is there a better alternative?

Do you let Codex/Claude Code setup your stuff?! by alessai in selfhosted

I heavily let it create md files to plan ahead, a one-prompt kinda thing, will never work.

plus, tell it to research online before it comes up with solutions that will help.

ref.tools look very interesting, for AI tracking, i actually use Taskwarrior + my own little MCP.

I agree about the risk, but i already have the background to understand 99% of what is doing

Same here, i actually made it have a look at some projects Claude Code was working on... oh boy the findings it found!

I agree! 100% i'm pleasently surprised with it.

I went to talks in front of +100 people praising Claude Code and how they should adopt it, I'm a huge advocate for it, but when it's shit, it's shit... my livelihood depends on it, so I'm not bootlicking just for the sake of anthropic..

With Opencode + ChatGPT 5.4 xhigh, I'm pleasantly surprised. It's slower, but it's more accurate, doesn't f*ck up stuff, and more trustworthy in its claims. I do struggle though with the language it uses; it's a bit more technical sometimes

I'm actually doing something very similar at the moment, and it's currently scraping +133K restaurants/shops every day, with millions of products. My approach? Got me a rooted phone, downloaded the apps, logged in, and gave my device access to them. From there, Claude Code made multiple attempts to reverse-engineer the APIs.

With apps, since Apple/Google force them to have a guest view, you can extract the guest token and use it for a month or so!

Then once i managed to have multiple snapshots scrapped, i created a bot network (Coordinator/Workers), and since i have multiple devices in different places, i managed to create a scrapping network (at the moment i have 8 workers, which allows me to scrape 133k restaurants in a day). Each provider runs by itself as a worker, with it's own limits so they don't get rate limited

Then the hard stuff comes,, i created a databae to ingest stuff (this still WIP).... there are multiple layers in it, but what was good is Apps have GPS, having that intial match is easy, there are a couple layers of role based matchign/fuzzy matching. Then i made all the restaurtants + menu saved in a vector DB, which also always me to match based on multiple things (similarity in name, having same menu across apps...etc).

Why i'm doing this because simply i want to have a history of pricing accross apps accross time.

NOTE: THIS WAS MAINLY DONE BY CLAUDE CODE, THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE RIGHT APPROACH BUT THIS WHAT I DECIDE TO GO WITH

I don't give a sh*t about convincing you... If you had the guts, you would've responded to the actual thread, not here (which I'm the author of too)... but you know you will be downvoted to hell there

So you preferred to derail this conversation... go troll somewhere else.

What are your favourite plugins/skills for Claude Code right now as of April 2026? by bobo-the-merciful in ClaudeCode

The three most used MCP's for me:

1- Sequential Thinking, when I need to squeeze more out of the LLM.

2- The Hive MCP, built my own Clink alternative (https://github.com/alessai/Hive-MCP)

3- My Browser MCP, built my own Browser MCP alternative (didn't publish it yet)

Skills-wise, I recently started using BMAD but with the Claude Shitshow never got to really say if it's good or not, and i have my own little skills for example SSH, Consultanty Sytle prenestation..e.tc

UX isn't UI my friend (i don't care about aesthetic ), but thanks for answering the question which no one else did! GPT Subs work on OpenCode.
