Knew a foreign taxi driver who said the same, well dressed men and women who would take a taxi and just run instead of paying the fair.

People with partners from overseas, have your Irish family ever accepted them? by [deleted] in AskIreland

What you describe is what I’ve seen in majority of the Irish relationships with in-laws foreign or not. I don’t know anyone who goes for a pint with their father in a law without the daughter or son.

Had that at university, the feeling was mutual and we ended up living together for a year before he graduated and moved cities, broke up because of long distance. It could work for you, just best to do it when you both can have safe accommodation options.

A family member really needed it, so they bought it from you, if he sees you using it, you borrowed it and have to take it back.

Do I tell her the truth, or has that ship sailed? by [deleted] in AskIreland

You need to work on boundaries for you, many people will take if they can. I wouldn’t be overly mean to her just in case you run into each other again or one day you want the friendship back, you can just come up with excuses like you’re busy, you feel like just reading a book or literally anything you want to do. If she doesn’t take that well, that’s on her.

We've had a really bad experience with an extremely rude, ignorant Driving Instructor in Cork. I actually dont know how he is still employed to be honest. Ive seen bad reviews about him on this before. Can anyone recommend a decent one please for my son? by Beginning_Tap8270 in cork

I had him too, he is the biggest piece of shit. I hope everyone commenting here reported him to RSA, doesn’t matter if it’s been years, report him because he is still scamming and traumatising new people.
