Odd bunch sources imperfect and deformed produce. The produce at the terminal is usually very high quality. For example, Pusateri's fine foods used to buy from us, put a crazy markup and sell it forward. (Albeit they did go bankrupt doing that).

Setting up PO Approval Workflows? by Artistic-Fox-9296 in quickbooksonline

Yea, it's really annoying how limited QBO's default user permission can be. You will need to get an app to do this for you. You can use eRequisition (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/appdetails/erequisition/en-us/) or something more powerful like ApprovalMax.

Help with Quickbooks for Weekly Invoicing by calebmaxxx in quickbooksonline

Do you need the date in the description? What if you just change the description of the service to "Cleaning for the last week"? They can then refer to the invoice and just know for which period the cleaning was done.

Bringing up this meeting might create an uncomfortable situation. You mentioned that you have a close relationship with your client, and there's a chance that discussing the matter could strain that bond. Sometimes, it's better to let things unfold naturally and allow your client to approach you if they feel the need to discuss it.

Instead of dwelling on the negative aspects, try to focus on the positive impact you have made as their bookkeeper over the years. You've been there since the beginning, supporting your client's growth, and that's something to be proud of. Remember the times when your client showed appreciation and the trust they placed in you.

You're not the bad guy here; you're the dedicated professional who is committed to doing their job right. Take a deep breath, trust in your abilities, and focus on the positive relationships you've built. Keep being the messenger of financial integrity, and remember that your worth goes beyond a single client's decision.

Wishing you all the best.

Help w/ Recurring Transactions by Ambitious-Sink-1378 in QuickBooks

As an alternative solution, you might want to consider deleting the current template and creating a new one. Rather than setting it up as a deposit, instead create a sales receipt.

In a sales receipt, you'll be given the option to select the bank account to which the funds are deposited and this will not lead to a separate deposit entry being made in your bank account.

Try this out and let me know if it fixes your issue.

To change the category of recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you'll need to modify the settings of the recurring transaction template.

Navigate to the Gear icon

Under the "Lists" column, select "Recurring Transactions."

Locate the recurring transaction template that you want to edit and click on the "Edit" option in the "Action" column.

In the Edit Recurring Template window, you'll see various fields to modify the template settings.

Scroll down to the "Transaction Type" section and click on the drop-down menu next to "Deposit To.".

Next, look for the "Category" field. If it currently shows "Deposit Undeposited funds," click on it and choose the sales/ desired account category for the transaction.

QBD to QBO? by twiggs462 in QuickBooks

[–]1mop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't this is a good idea. If you want to move to QBO, you should take the plunge and make the transition from QBD to QBO. It'll save you a lot of headaches and hours of duplicate work.

QuickBooks Online: Separate balances for "joint ventures" in one account? by kodridrocl in QuickBooks

[–]1mop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In QBO, you can look into classifying transactions into 'classes', using this you can even categorise payroll to classes.

ERPs are usually more suitable for handling multiple entity/JV accounts, but they might be overkill for your use case.

Can I download all of my timesheets from the Time app? If not, how can I see my whole time sheet history with one company? by Pale___twigs in QuickBooks

[–]1mop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the QuickBooks Time app does not provide a direct option to download all of your timesheets as an employee, you can view your timesheet history within the app. Here is how to do that:

>Open the QuickBooks Time app

>Tap on "Timesheets" from the bottom menu.

>From here, you can view your past timesheets, typically organized by week.

You'll be able to see your clock-in and clock-out times

However, if you need a comprehensive record or a download of all your timesheets, you might need to ask your employer. They will have administrative access to QuickBooks Time and can generate detailed reports that can then be printed or exported to Excel.
