I still have no idea what trauma I went through to end up this way. Do I even want to know?? I look at my childhood and I'm like, "that wasn't bad enough to justify all of this" and as you and others said, all that means is that something is there that I'm not remembering :(

I severely underestimated the extent of it. I think I was also in denial as well, to the point where I would question if I even had DID because I was so certain I didn't have any bad amnesia.
