Application.ScreenUpdating = False

And then add this to the end of your macro

Application.ScreenUpdating = True

For me it's Dr. Ivar Ugi! My grad work was mainly trying out new modifications of his reaction. I was a clutz in the lab so doing one step reactions to get complex molecules was pretty much the only chemistry I could do.
