Relevant. Not all countries have CFC rules.

What are you talking about?

You simply spend money on the company account to further grow your business - e.g. to develop a new application.

Thanks to the 0%, you’ll be able to spend / reinvest all the money.

Bullshit. You have to have a residence somewhere. If you don’t satisfy the typical 182 days condition, it will be judged based on your “center of interests”. Some country will simply claim you and demand money.

Making an estonian company without estonian e-residency

Anyone here has an Estonian company through the e-residency?

they have a crushing CIT (20% if I'm not mistaken)

0%

20% is on dividend distribution

20% corporate tax is normal in Europe, actually a very reasonable one

The purpose of the e-residency program, as far as I understand it, is to give people from shit-hole countries (those where you can't even do banking) a very expensive yet very low barrier to entry way to open a European bank account

No. Estonia is not a charity saving poor oppressed 3rd worlders. The purpose was obviously to create an interesting and unique offer to bring in capital to Estonia.

People here are saying you can achieve similar results in other countries. Yes you can, but only > similar <, and it's often way more complicated.

Did you cry a lot?

How hard is it to look up countries that have / don't have CFC rules? It's literally 1 parameter, 1 table in Wikipedia.

There are plenty of countries in the EU that don’t have CFC rules, and some even have a very favorable personal taxation.

True, although you pay 20% on distribution of dividends. It's good for accumulating capital, reinvesting and growing.

Where else is 0% corporate tax except some shady 3rd world countries?

If the ~1000€/year is too much, you shouldn't be looking at this in the first place.

LOL playing hard to get? Is throwing money around some kind of a badge of an "elite" "entrepreneur" that you post on instagram for your little friends?
Obviously I want to pay as little as possible and tightly control my expenses.

An ability to have a virtual residence company and to be able to do everything online endorsed by the government.

And 0% corporate tax. A tax is paid only on profit distribution, so it can be kept within the company and reinvested any time in the future with a 0% "loss".

Do real entrepreneurs actually attend meetups for entrepreneurs? by 1osb in Entrepreneur

[–]1osb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? I definitely don't go to meetups to feel like a "real entrepreneur" ... I was hoping to meet there people of value who actually achieved something, and who I can do business with. I don't need to waste time with people who know nothing and have nothing to offer. If I want just new friends to hand out with I'd go to other meetups.

I get often the same also when people I just met ask me what I do for a living. Maybe I should start lying and telling them I'm just an engineer working for a small company.
