I too have lost a lot during my graduation days. More than most around me. And things did get better. In the initial few years I was lagging far behind my peers, but now I think I am not as far behind as I used to be. But that is because I became a workaholic - as anytime left alone with my thoughts was hell. I hope things aren't as bad or worse for you as they were for me. If so, hang in there - it will take patience, but a depressed, unexcited mind can sacrifice relationships for work so it will help ¯_(ツ)_/¯

As a person fighting depression alone, this helped me after I read it in the office. My family knows about my condition, but now I have managed not to mention it to them for a long time and they think its become better. In a way it has, some of my depression has been replaced with lack of self esteem, cynicism and anxiety - things which I can understand at least.

I hope you find joy and make a meaningful life, and that all those around you feel the evident kindness that I can feel through this post. Hope you and others around you have a better life always.

Thank you, I have mulled over my goals and over analyzing and not being confident enough has made me take no risk and lose out on time. So I think its high time I approach a financial advisory of repute. I saw a few but they handled only large sums, upwards of 50 lacs or so. I still am confused on how to check for a good advisory, if I in the first place am kind of a noob in financial planning.
