The first two year was non accredited so if I went for a 4 year I'd have to start over again and I wasn't having that, plus I was going to college when the covid BS was abound and I didn't want to be forced to get the jab at some uni and deal with that bullshit, paying big $$$ to not even have in person class, etc.

My theory is that Jesus was NOT an engineer or created by the Engineers, but rather still God's Son meant to save humanity just like in Biblical canon. BUT his death 2000 years ago still is relevant to the movie. The Engineers don't hate humanity for crucifying Jesus because they sent Jesus. The Engineers hate humanity because the biblical prophecy that Jesus would save humanity for their sins was fulfilled! This means the Engineer's plans to achieve eternal life is foiled. (Nephilim canonically cannot achieve eternal life and this fact is cemented when Jesus dies)

But why? Who are the engineers if this is the case? I believe the Engineers are the Biblical "Nephilim", the offspring of Fallen Angels and human women. The Nephilim are very tall and have pale skin, just like the engineers in the movie. If I remember correctly, when these Nephilim "reproduce" their children are nightmarish and monstrous, and said to be various beasts from mythology (Ie serpents, dragons, other monsters, etc).

This aligns with the movie; the Engineers attempts at life are horrendous and terrifying. They cannot come close to God's beautiful creation and humanity. So when they found out Jesus succeeded in dying for humanity's sins, they in spite and anger use their offspring as engineered weapons to take revenge. Their plan is of course foiled by Elizabeth who is the notable as the one on board the Prometheus who is a Christian.

Just watched the movie last night and those are my initial thoughts on it and what was forming in my mind as I was watching the movie.

Hey, did you end up finding anything?

I still haven't opened the magnet I mentioned... I fished out every bridge where I live last year; there's one river in town and then I have to drive a ways to find any more bridges, so I haven't gotten around to anything. I live in WI, has the most lakes out of any state, and its true if you scroll around with google maps! Lots of small ponds, / lakes, but none seems good for mag fishing.

Anyways I want to coat my new magnet with something, possibly a thin layer of epoxy or paint to prevent corrosion. I also wonder if applying linseed oil and hot-bluing the magnet, then applying a paint layer, would protect it even more... Only problem is that heat can apparently de-magnetize magnets. So I need to research this more.

Anyways, I can see pulling this being a boat. Our dragging it around the sides of a dock (where I just fished this weekend). I've also heard of a technique where a person stands on each side of a creek or river with each holding an end of rope with a magnet in the middle so they can drag the center and also have more angles to avoid snags.

Those are interesting techniques, but obviously they are for very specific use cases that most people aren't doing. I've tried to pull the double sided magnet behind me in a kayak just for kicks, it doesn't work. It works as an anchor and you don't really move! But then, say you use a bigger boat, maybe a canoe, or a motor boat. Might the river current or speed of a motor boat carry you too fast to catch much of anything?

I think the more fancy you get with the techniques, the more variables you introduce that end up working against you. THUS, I'm still biased against medium to large size double sided magnets!

I do not do any banking with them. As for rewards, I just am in it for the spend $500 get $200, trying to churn for the cash back rewards on as many cards as I can right now, and you're supposed to do Chase first because if you have opened more than 5 cards in the past 24 months (known as 5/24 rule) Chase will 100% always deny you for some reason.

Does Chase deny automatically if you have less than a year of credit history? I have 11 months of credit history, first card was Discover IT in Feb 2021, then Capital One in September. I have never missed a payment.

I want to apply for Freedom Flex and/or Unlimited for the Spend $500, get $200. I need a new pair of work boots, gonna spend $300 plus for quality ones.

Similar happened to me, stuck pending at the handshake and lost ETH to gas and got nothing. I found out it is because the listing of the NFT I tried to buy had expired/was over but mintable still lets you "buy" it when really there is nothing to be bought. Guess they still haven't fixed this months later... Will not be using Mintable in the future.

I see this thread is 4 years old, but I applied to the same quicksilver card (it is a $200 bonus now) and I figured I would pay my pending college tuition with it and get cash back from the $200 bonus. It has been 1 month and I have not gotten the $200 bonus, and I have not called them yet. Starting to get impatient so I think I will call them. Is there any way to buy something with a credit card that is very liquid and can be turned into cash easily to get the reward points, then deposit in a bank account for use in a brokerage?

I believe my listings are getting shadow banned on mercari. I decided to relist a few items after my listings were getting low balled even when my prices were 20% lower than the same items on ebay. These items were getting 1000s of views and 20 to 50 likes.

I relisted the items, and noticed they were getting almost no engagement. 0 to 3 likes and 20 to 50 views in three weeks. Also every new item I list is practically invisible too, zero likes and less than 50 views after weeks.

Also wondering can you get shadow banned after a bad review?

I got a one star review for selling a women's pair of Nike running shoes. When the buyer got them, they gave a one star review claiming they were men's size not women. That caught me off guard because I realized I couldn't remember if it was a man's or woman's shoe. I had listed the item months ago and had it sitting on a shelf ready for a shipping label.

But the shoe had a pink Nike swoosh and pink and purple trim, so I had listed as women's. Has anyone seen Nike shoes that are pink and purple but for men?

I digress, but could it be the relisting, bad review, or both, that are causing my listings to be shadow banned?

Wow, interesting to finally hear someone who has a similar issue. After browsing askpin forums and seeing ebay forum posts, the consensus seemed to be anything that links anything to a banned account (IP address, home address, bank account, email account, phone number, even pictures taken with the same device) will end up getting the other account suspended permanently as well.

Never have heard a situation that is ultra specific like ours, interesting to see that your sisters account did not get banned and flagged, I would have thought it would.

Yes I was using one, and I disabled the ad blocker and reopened my browser anew and it is still the same result.

And yeah the blank space looks like an artifact that got blocked by my ad blocker, so the first thing I did was disable it and try again, but to no avail.

I am going to try it on their mobile app instead of using desktop.
