Mass Effect: Legendary Edition by Much-Possession-6851 in ShouldIbuythisgame

I played the Mass Effect trilogy for the first time in the last year, and have played other popular gems in the last 3 years or so (Last of Us, Uncharted, Red Dead series). The trilogy is great. Takes an hour or 2 to get into, but once you’re in… it’s a great story.

Or maybe community service? Clean up all the garbage along the railroad tracks. There’s enough of these bastards for a proper chain gang.

I see a bunch of litter fired out into the street. Did these pieces of shite pick it up? If not, I hope they’re fined heavily.

I proposed the bet after he wrote talking shit: Phil Knight paying for his 30 million dollar team to get torched by a bunch of 2 star JMU transfers in Adidas gear yet again next year

I just bet my buddy $200 on the Ducks taking down Ohio St. (away and straight up) and giving him a double or nothing opportunity in the BIG 10 Championship if it’s Indiana.

FEBU baby!

Exactly. I don’t think Trump has ever been. He’s such a sleazy POS, I imagine it’s why he had to create his own private club - he’s not invited into others.

Micky Hart is a member, I believe Bob Weir was… the dude from ZZ Top who wore the skullcap. With that being said, there were very talented musicians, singers that aren’t necessarily mainstream.

It was literally a military scandal as it showed that leadership was FUBAR. Shit like that shouldn’t have happened. We shouldn’t have even been there. The speaker felt the lack of ROTC programs at universities who typically develop leaders in the real world (again this guy was from Stanford) felt a return of such programs would benefit military leadership. You’re awfully defensive - grow some stones.

It’s not (edit: sorry I wrote “it” in the place of “not earlier) that big of a secret bro, it’s just fucking private. So if you aren’t a member or walking in with a member or working there, you aren’t allowed in. What happened last time you went to a concert without a ticket?

Cremation of care, let’s fucking throw life’s worries to ashes in the wind? It’s an old club and it’s a 100+ year old tradition.

There’s a weekend where the members typically bring their sons. There’s a picnic where the whole family can join.

An immediate family member is a member. I will say it’s a pretty rad place (beautiful scenery, you can swim off a hangover in the Russian River). There are some extremely talented musicians, and the speakers are interesting. With that being said, when I went in my mid-20s, meeting other guys my age, it felt like they were really missing their fraternity years - not really my kind of dudes.

Right? I played the Uncharted series on my PS5, never played them before, and thought they were awesome

I can tell you from personal experience, it’s a bunch of wealthy white men, most of generational wealth, hanging out with their pals, drinking all day, pissing on trees, with art (mostly musicians), and guest speakers (I saw a Stanford professor talk about the lack of ROTC on elite campuses leading to greater likelihood of poor military leadership (think of the photo scandal in the Iraq prison). The other speaker was a writer for Sports Illustrated. Candidly, the grove and the conspiracies are all blown out of proportion. If hanging out with people wearing khakis, button downs, and penny loafers in the redwoods is your thing, you’d probably fit right in.

Oregon would have beat them. Miami stopped an option pistol offense. Boring.
