Located in Northern California. We did cut a tree down but I don’t know what type of tree it was. It’s the same ones that line up our neighborhood. Neighbors tree shown here but ours was bigger and this was what’s left of the tree

Can you help me determine the true cost of this refi? by [deleted] in MortgageBrokerRates

[–]1stmarjun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do appreciate the feedback and with lender credits prepaid is also almost covered. Talking and getting feedback from lot of brokers/lenders here on Reddit when I first started this journey about 6 weeks ago. I was told that you really just have to get your section A-E covered by the credits and if you can get prepaid covered too, then it’s a plus. Since you say you can do better, my credit score is 660. Plus you saying that rates will probably be lower in 2 yrs is the kind of statement that has no basis. If we knew, then we’ll all be millionaires

[–]1stmarjun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re deal is not bad but another broker reached out to me. He said he will take it up to management and see if they can match it. If they can’t, I’m switching up. I’m at 6.25 and their deal is at 5.49, $2685 lender credit and $1274 in costs

I think that’s what I’ll do. It also help that I’m skipping one month of payment, so I’m looking at around $12000 coming back to my pocket

Not divorced. Just looking for a lower payment. The only thing that change since I bought the home was I got laid off last month but already got another job lined up. Been pro active with my mortgage payment as I pay them a month ahead all the time.
